But the price was very high. And he learned that Botswana had to buy many fruits and vegetables from other countries to meet the needs of its people. Wu wanted to do something to help.
In 2023, he made an app for agriculture (农业). It is called Farm Assistant. The app supports (支持) eight vegetables, like tomatoes, potatoes, cabbages and radishes. With the help of the app, farmers can know the vegetable’s planting time, watering needs, ripening (成熟) time and selling price.

4 . Making a good job choice is almost as good as choosing a good life. So choosing a job is one of the most important decisions to make in life.
For my job, there are three important things that I will consider:
The first one is that I must work in an area I like. It’s the most important to me. Someone once said if you find a job that you enjoy, then you won’t have to work another day. I would like to work in an area where I can be more creative. I would like to be the most valuable member there. All this is possible only if I like what I do.
The second one is that the area of my work must lead me to solve some new and hard problems. I would like to stay in the same area for a long time. So the work must provide enough problems. I enjoy trying my best for the whole progress. More than just working to live. Of course, I would also like to be well remunerated for my hard work, so I can lead a comfortable life with this hard-won money. Then I can provide the best for my family.
The third important thing is that I would like to work in an area that would help other people. The work in my mind is in fields such as the army, training or management. In such areas, I can help to develop the abilities of others and bring out their best. It would be a most satisfying job to help young people to become the best that they can be.
I accept the idea that no one should make a choice of a job suddenly or quickly. He should decide what he wants to be in the long run. Then, he should decide how he works towards it. He should study the proper courses, read the books and speak to knowledgeable persons in that field before making a job choice. A good choice will most probably lead to a better life.

Bubbles will come out of your mouth and it might be dangerous to leave them around. | Visit the Moon and Other Planets Space tourism companies are racing to launch (发射) the first tourist flight to the moon. Although there might be a long way to go before common people can step on the moon, we will probably see it in our life-time. And who knows. |

What does this mean in real life? It means get enough sleep, eating healthy food, and exercise. You might not think about this much as a student, but believe me — as you get older, it becomes very important.
It’s good to start building a better “factory” at a young age. Getting into the habit of living healthily can help you in many ways. If you get enough sleep (not too little, not too much), you’ll be able to focus (集中精力) better on your studies. Eating health y food helps your body grow strong and fight against sickness. And exercise can help you stay fit both physically and mentally (精神上).
This sounds like a lot to do. So start small—try to go to bed at the same time each night and wake up at the same time as well. Find time to eat an apple each day—they say “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Try to exercise each day, even if it’s only for 10 minutes. The Tianchi station is at an altitude (海拔) of about 2,620 meters and is about 150 meters away from Tianchi Lake on the top of Changbai Mountain. Weather workers there not only enjoy wonderful sights, but also work under terrible weather conditions.
The average temperature there is -7.3℃ with the lowest of -44.0℃. Every year, there are strong winds in about 269 days with some up to 74 kilometers per hour. Snow can be seen in about 250 days. And there are 56 days of thunderstorms.
The station was set up in 1958 to improve weather information collection. These days, workers also need to pay attention to the effects of climate change and protect the wildlife in Changbai Mountain. Workers stay at the station from June to September. In other months, they check the equipment to keep everything in working order.
Since the station was set up, many workers have done their part in collecting weather information from Changbai Mountain. Jiao Xiangzhao, 53, is one of them. He has worked there for 24 years. He still remembers his first day of work.“Because of the heavy snow, the car we took had to stop when we were one-third of the way to the station. We took four hours to get to the mountain top with heavy bags,” he said.
Over the past years, conditions have improved a lot. Since 2010, new equipment has been used at the station. In 2016, a new building of 1,000 m² was built. Workers could work more safely there.

Point with lips
In Nicaragua in Central America, people feel that pointing with the finger is impolite. So, it’s common to point with the lips instead of the finger there. Wondering just how exactly a person points with his lips? It all starts by puckering up (撅) the lips. Once a person has his duck face on, he can direct his lips forward or side to side to show what he wants to point out. The lip point is often used in conversation to show something that is happening nearby.
Hang out in cemeteries (墓园)
While cemeteries are considered scary places in many countries, this is not the case in Denmark. Many people might prefer to hang out in parks, but locals have turned their cemeteries into places where they meet friends. These cemeteries are very tidy. When the weather begins to warm up, the cemeteries are full of locals. Assistens Kirkegard in the country’s capital provides a perfect example. As you hang out there, you can see many famous people buried there, including Hans Christian Andersen, author of The Ugly Duckling.
Make slurping (啜食) sounds
Most countries around the world have rules about table manners. For western cultures, it is considered impolite to make loud noises while eating. 10 . As young students, you have many dreams. These dreams can be very big, such as winning the Nobel Prize. They can also be small. You may just want to become one of the ten best students in you class. Once you find a dream, what do you do with it? Do you ever try to make your dream come true?
Andrew Matthews, an Australian writer, tells us that making our dreams real is life’s biggest challenge. You may think you’re not very good at some school subjects, or it is impossible for you to become a writer. These kinds of ideas stop you from realizing your dreams.
In fact, everyone can make his dream come true. The first thing you must do is to remember what your dream is. Don’t let it leave your heart. Keep telling yourself what you want every day and your dream will come true faster. You should know that a big dream is, in fact, many small dreams.
Also you must never give up your dream. There will be barriers on the way to your dreams. Don’t be afraid of them. They are not that hard. The biggest difficulty comes from yourself. You need to decide what is the most important. Turn off the TV. Studying will help you get better exam grades. Don’t buy ice-cream. Saving five yuan means you can buy a new book.
