1 . Garden for the Environment is excited to have you volunteer! We would prefer that you stay for the entire shift(10 a.m.—3 p.m.) to maximize the amount of work we accomplish. However, we understand if you need to leave early—just let us know when you arrive.
Volunteer Shift Guidelines:
·Arrive by 9:50 a.m. Introductions and instructions will be provided by GFE staff at 10 a.m.
·Bring your own gardening gloves they are highly recommended for your safety. We will no longer be lending out our gloves for health and safety reasons.
·Bring water, snacks and/or lunch, sun protection, and wear close-toed shoes and clothes you feel comfortable moving in.
·You may sign up for no more than one shift at a time to allow access to all who want to help. GFE staff reserves the right to cancel shifts if there’s overbooking. Feel free to sign up for another as soon as you finish one.
·Each person in your party (including children) must be signed up.
·To keep all volunteers safe, children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers 13—17 years old may come on their own but will need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver(弃权书).
·No walk-up registration is permitted for volunteer shifts.
·Please sign up only if you are 100% sure you can participate to avoid canceled: tickets.
Accessibility information:
·A hand-washing station, water bottle filler, and an all-gender portable toilet will be provided.
·There are many steps in the garden, including a large staircase or steep slope to get to the portable toilet. Within the garden, there are several small steps, but large parts of the garden with no steps at all.
·Kneepads are available for use.

2 . Are you an organist (风琴演奏者)，a singer, chorister or instrumentalist of a very high standard? If you’d like to combine specialist musical experience with a Cambridge degree, you should consider applying for one of our Music Awards.
Choral Awards
Choral Award-holders receive a small financial award each year and, in most Colleges, they also receive a subsidy (补助金)towards singing lessons. Other forms of support, such as subsidized meals and choir tours, are determined by the individual Colleges. Find out more.

Organ Scholarships in Cambridge offer unparalleled opportunities to talented organists who wish to develop their skills significantly during the period of their academic studies. The awards vary from College to College but all include a small financial award and some support for music lessons. Find out more.
Instrumental Awards Scheme
The Instrumental Awards Scheme enables gifted musicians to reach a high standard of performance in chamber music. Successful students are Award-holders for a year, and receive a small financial award professional coaching of their ensemble, master classes, recital opportunities and a subsidy for instrumental lessons.
