What if you are home-schooled and your family can’t afford to build a lab at your home? These are realistic, interactive, virtual lab experiments that 9th-12th grade home-schooled students love and can perform from the convenience of home.

How Does It Work?
A student is registered for one-week lab experiments that include:
●Daily 20-30 minute online class(each weekday for one week)with Greg Landry for instruction. This includes instruction on creating high quality lab reports and background instruction for each of the ten lab experiments we`ll conduct. Students can attend the live class or use the recording.
●Students will have a daily task(conduct two experiments in our interactive virtual lab and create two lab reports)to turn in.
●There are no supplies with our online lab experiments! Everything is done online in our interactive lab! With their mouse and keyboard, students follow a step-by-step “method”(also called “procedure”)to perform all the steps in the experiment.
●Students record all data from the experiment in their lab notebook and create a lab report which will be graded by Greg Landry and instructed for improvement.

Greg Landry is a 20-year experienced home-school dad and former college professor. He has taught several thousand home-schooled students for over 20 years.

2 . International Volunteering in New Zealand
If you’re visiting New Zealand and would like to volunteer, DOC (Department of Concentration) welcomes you to get involved.
Before you come to New Zealand
You do not need a work visa to volunteer with DOC. You ran volunteer on entry to New Zealand as long as you do not receive payment or benefits.
You may need a police certificate
Depending on the volunteer work you do with us, you may be required to provide a police certificate to DOC. Your police certificate would need to be written and certified in English. It’s easier for you if you get a police certificate before you leave your country.

International students
Volunteering with DOS is an option to gain experience. However, DOC does not offer opportunities to students who study at:
●universities outside New Zealand, or other education providers outside New Zealand.
Insurance
For all volunteers with DOC, we strongly advise you gel comprehensive (综合的) travel insurance and unlimited medical cover. DOC does not accept responsibility for any:
● personal medical or accident events.
● loss or damage to personal items of equipment, or other associated costs while you're volunteering with DOC.

Located on the beach of the Sea Gardens Beach Resort, there are fun things to rent for the whole family. They offer rentals for kayaks, jetskis, and even parasails! Enjoy the water upclose or from a bird’s eye view! No matter what activity you’re enjoying, be sure to protect yourself and your family from the sun’s powerful rays and apply plenty of sun block!
15th Street Boat Company

15th Street Boat Company offers rental boats of all kinds. They’re sure to have what you are looking for, whether it’s a small boat for a quick and simple outing or a luxurious boat with comfortable seats with a stereo((立体声)and high tech navigation(导航). You can rent a boat for half a day, a couple days, or even weeks at a time. If you want it, they’ve got it. It’s fun for everyone!
Coconut’s Watersports
9a.m.-5p.m. Monday through Sunday
Coconut’s Water sports is open 7days a week for your convenience and offers tons of water fun for the whole family. Jet ski activities last 30 minutes or 1hour and can make stops along the way. You must be at least 14years of age to ride alone and can be as young as 3 to ride along with an adult. Everybody is required to wear a life jacket and a license is required to operate the jet ski. Bathing suits and shorts are recommended.
Jet Ski Tours of Miami
Thursday- Sunday 10 a.m.-7p.m
Jet Ski Tours of Miami includes onsite parking, indoor restrooms, lockers, and life jackets for participants. You may choose a one or two hour tour and each jet ski can hold up to 3 people. You must be at least 18 years old in order to ride. As long as you are accompanied by an adult, there is no age limitation for any passenger. There is a restaurant nearby to eat at. The tour visits 6 different islands and passes by Bayside and Hard Rock. You may even catch a glimpse of dolphins playing or a manatee resting in these fabulous Florida waters.
