The staff, parents and children enrolled (招收) at This Is the Way Learning Center are one big family. We take the health and safety of our family very seriously. This Is the Way Learning Center is committed to maintaining a safe environment for your children. We are following all safety rules. Should you have any questions regarding the processes in place please call our center. We will be happy to answer your questions.
This Is the Way Learning Center cares for and educates children aged 6 weeks and up. We are enrolling for all programs (Preschool and Nursery School) in addition to basic childcare. There will be no enrollment fees and registration fees. We are devoted to the future of your child and creating a lifetime love of learning at every age and stage. What can be more precious or important than the early developmental and learning years of our children?
This Is the Way Learning Center is located across the street from Henry Barnard School at 18 Shaker Road. It is conveniently located just minutes from 91 North and South, in the town of Enfield.

• Closed only on major holidays.

Salem Public Library offers a lot of fun and educational activities for children and adults all year round. Sign up for email notifications and never miss an event
Creative Kids: After-School Arts Activity
4:30—5:30 p.m.| 3rd Thursday of the month | Story Rooms A & B
School-age kids from 2nd to 5th grades are invited to an after-school activity in arts the third Thursday of each month October through March. Sign up online or at the Children's Ask Here Desk.
Read to a Pet
1:00—2: 30 p.m.| 2nd and last Saturday of the month| 3rd Floor Children's Area
This program is a relaxing way for young readers to improve their reading skills. Visiting dogs and cats have been trained by Paws for Love and are nice and friendly. This is a drop-in program, and sign-ups are not necessary.
Monthly Lego Party
2:00—3:00 p.m.| 3rd Saturday of the month| Story Rooms Floor 3
Kids with their grown-ups are invited for an hour of Lego play. Legos are provided. Bring your imagination! This creative activity is for ages 4 and up.
Discovery Room
The Discovery Room gives chances for children to think creatively, use their imagination, and learn while playing. The theme of the Discovery Room changes four times a year. Discovery Room hours often change, too. Please call before you come to find out when it will be open.

Alderbrook Resort & Spa
Less than a two-hour drive from Seattle, located on the edge of the Hood Canal, a nature-filled retreat (休养处) is waving. Seals slide along the waters of the Alderbrook dock (码头), playing a game of “Go Fish” with dive-bombing seabirds.
