1 . Odd Jobs
Have you ever thought about what you would like to do after school? Perhaps one of these rather different jobs will suit you.
CHOCOLATE ENGINEER:
You will spend your time inventing and tasting new chocolates. You will also be responsible for making all the chocolates. But beware, you could get tired of so much chocolate and may just want to eat a plate of vegetable instead.
FORTUNE COOKIE WRITER:
Your responsibility will be to write the “fortunes” for the inside of fortune cookies. You need to enjoy poetry if you are going to be successful in this job. Don't worry. Nobody will ever find out your name. That way if a “fortune” does not come true, you cannot be blamed.
PROFESSIONAL WHISTLER:
Many people are hiring whistlers to whistle at their parties, weddings and other family gatherings. You do not need any special training for this job. You just need to be able to whistle in tune.
ICE DELIVERER:
If you think that delivering 136—kilogram blocks of ice is a “cool” thing to do, then this job is for you. You will be delivering ice to hotels and shops. This job will keep you cool in summer, but it could get a bit uncomfortable in winter.
EYE PAINTER:
This is a job for a careful person as it involves painting false eyes. Many people lose their eyes in accidents or because of illnesses. For this reason, there is a lot of work available. It is a difficult job because the false eye needs to match the real eye.
