1 . Paris offers the largest concentration of tourist attractions in France, and possibly in Europe. For the traveller spending just a few days in Paris, this list offers more than enough choice to fill the time.

It is built on a hill opposite the Eiffel Tower and provides excellent views over the city. It was laid out for the World Fair in 1878. This open space provides one of the best photo chances on the tour with wonderful views of the Eifel Tower.

It started to build in 1163 and took 185 years to finish. It remains one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in Europe. This is the official center of Paris; the point from which all distances in France are measured.

It was Gustav Eifel who planned this huge, iron-work tower in 1887, with observation decks (露台) that provided a bird's eye of the city. It's original licence was for 20 years at which time it was due to be destroyed. But destruction of the national symbol was unthinkable.

It was used as homes and hospital for aged and injured soldiers. Completed in 1709. L' Hotel des Invalides now holds museums relating to France's military history, but some of the buildings continue to be used as a home and hospital for those who used to serve in the army especially during the wars.

It is the world's largest and most visited museum. It is famously home to Leonardo Da Vinei's Mona Lisa. It used to be a Royal Palace with its history dating back to the 1100's.

Constructed in 1953, Hubei Provincial Museum is recognized by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage as a protection base of Chinese traditional culture, a director member of China Museum Association of Musical Instrument, and an AAAAA level scenic spot authorized by National Tourism Administration.

Introduction to Tomb of Marquis Yi of Zeng: the exhibition features the most representative relics from the tomb Marquis Yi of Zeng, and represents the spiritual and material life 2,400 years ago.

Indian Pueblo Cultural Center

Located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the IPCC highlights the culture of the state’s 19 pueblos (印第安人村庄 ). Every weekend, dancers of Zuni pueblo perform in the center’s square. There's a museum, an annual film festival, a cafe serving authentic pueblo food like fry bread, and a world-class research library open to the public.

American Indian Film Festival

The oldest and best known festival in the country mainly shows movies about the stories of America's original people. There are screenings, group discussions and an awards ceremony. Past guests have included director Chris Eyre, actors Adam Beach, and Chaske Spencer. The festival runs for nine days in November in San Francisco. Berkeley Indigenous Peoples Day Powwow

Among two dozen U.S. cities and one state observing Indigenous Peoples Day currently, Berkeley, California was the first city in the country to turn Columbus Day into a celebration of Native Americans. The annual event features traditional dancing, retailers selling native crafts and food, and a blessing of the grounds.

Petroglyph National Monument

One of the largest petroglyph ( 岩刻 ) sites in North America is on a cliff overlooking the suburbs of Albuquerque, New Mexico. There, native peoples scratched thousands of mysterious shapes and drawings of animals and humans into the stones between 400 and 2,000 years ago. When the Spanish traveled through in the 16th century, they added their initials to the Indians' sacred stones. It's a visual record of the conflict of cultures.

8 . Biscayne is not very far from the lights, noise and excitement of downtown Miami. But it has a very different atmosphere from the big city. Biscayne National Park was established as a national monument in 1968. It became a national park in 1980. That year, its size also increased. The park now covers more than 70,000 hectares.

If you enjoy water, Biscayne is the park for you. Ninety-five percent of the park is water. Many kinds of animals live in these waters. Some of them are threatened or endangered. You will find the huge, gentle West Indian manatee, the less gentle American crocodile, several kinds of sea turtles, and more than 500 species of fish.

Scientists say Human history at Biscayne begins more than 10,000 years ago. However, evidence of the area’s earliest people is mostly underwater now, as water levels have risen over time. Within the last 3,000 years, people began to settle in the area. Scientists continue to learn about these people by examining the big hills of shells they left behind. The shells contain other waste, too, including early tools and house wares.

European explorers began arriving in the area in the early 1500s. They brought with them diseases like smallpox and measles. Over time, these diseases killed huge numbers of natives. Early explorers arrived in the area on ships. The reefs and rough waters made it difficult for ship captains. Biscayne’s waters contain more than 50 shipwrecks. Scuba divers today can explore six of them.

Four ecosystems come together here, which is what makes the park so diverse. The blending ecosystems create “edge communities.” These edge communities support a huge amount of wildlife. The underwater diversity is what attracts most people to Biscayne National Park. Many visitors come here to scuba dive in Biscayne’s clear and warm waters.
