Venice is     1     attractive city between the sea and the sky. The city consists of over 100 islands and there aren’t any cars or buses. The best-known of the canals, the Grand Canal, serves as the main street in the part of the city.

If one travels to Chengdu for the first time, Chunxi Road is a place that should not be missed. Chunxi Road     1     (build) in 1924 to connect two commercial (商业的) centers. It provides lovely food choices, attractive sightseeing, and a lot of shopping chances for visitors. It is     2     (real) an excellent place     3     (have) fun and experience the life of Chengdu locals.

It shows the time 00:00 on February 10,2002, the date     7     the rebuilding was finished. The old man stands for the businessmen from the past, while the lady stands for the modern young people.

Chunxi Road is a paradise (天堂) for shopping with all kinds of stores selling goods from international high-end things     8     cheap ones. Besides, the     9    (tradition) Chengdu food here will make your mouth water. Famous local     10     (snack), such as Zhong Dumplings, Lai Tangyuan and Han Baozi, are delicious and cheap, getting popularity among visitors across the world.

History can be found at every turn, and every corner, as you walk the streets of this architectural marvel of a city, and at Powis Place and Fraser Studios you are just a short 15-minute walk away from one of the universities in the country. Links can be found to the University of Aberdeen as far back as 1495, beautiful medieval (中世纪的) campus to back up its claims.

It makes it the fifth oldest university in the whole of the UK, and as a result it has always been a regarded higher education establishment. It has been voted the 2019 Scottish University of the Year and ranked in the Top 30 Universities in the UK in 2019. It attracts people from all over the UK and abroad. With distance learning choices, it is an attractive proposition to many students. The Sir Duncan Rice Library has perfect views of the entire city and beaches, and the university has one of the largest medical campuses in the whole of Europe.

Aberdeen University Students’ Association (AUSA) is home to over 150 societies and hundred activities relating to those societies. It ensures that whatever you are interested in you are well served when moving to the city as a student. It is a fantastic way to meet and make new friends with people from all over the world. Within the Union there is a café and a shop, with many food outlets providing daily refreshments (茶点) during breaks between lectures and study. There are also plenty of volunteering and training opportunity to take part in, whether you are looking for a hobby, to help others, to present your CV, or all of the above.

The University of Aberdeen certainly holds some reputations, home to five previous Nobel Prize winners, an internationally-focused university in teaching and research, and even its very own tartan created in 1992 to celebrate the university’s 500th anniversary.

7 . Welcome to Norway

DAY1: Welcome to Bergen! Upon arrival, meet your driver and travel to the city’s center where you can drop your luggage at the Grand Terminus Hotel and enjoy a walking tour of the city. Once back at the hotel you’ll have a talk from Rowan Hooper, who will explore why the Arctic is important to the well-being of the planet.

DAY2: This morning you’ll go on a 3-hour round trip from Bergen to Mostraumen. When you return to Bergen you’ll have time for lunch before visiting the Vilvite Science Center. After dinner, you’ll have a second talk from Rowan on how we could grow the whale population to re-engineer(重新建造) marine ecosystems.

DAY 3: Today, you will transfer to the airport for your flight to Tromso. Upon arrival, you’ll take a fast ferry(轮渡) to Sanja Island, where the Aurora Borealis Observatory is your home for the night. In the evening, astronomer Abigail Beall will hold a talk on the science behind the aurora borealis(北极光) before you have the opportunity to search for the Northern Lights yourself.

DAY4: Return by ferry to Tromso, where you’ll explore the Northern Norwegian Science Center. The center is a popular science experience center containing almost 100 interactive installations, divided into four themes on three floors.

DAY 5: Today you’ll start a full-day fjord (峡湾) trip by boat. As you pass through the frozen coastline, you’ll get an opportunity to look for sea eagles, seals and whales. Recently, hundreds of humpback and killer whales visit the northern fjords, and your boat’s expert crew will help you spot them.

DAY6: This morning you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the dog yard where you can learn about the Alaskan husky dog, and dog sled racing. Afterward, you’ll be transferred to the airport in the afternoon for your flight home.
