The trip to Canada was so fantastic! I'd like to share with you the impressions this country left     1     me—“M-A-P-L-E".

Multicultural Canada officially     2     (become) a multicultural society in 1971. Canadians believe they should accept others' cultures, values and beliefs equal to     3    (they) own. Abundant (富饶).Canada has an abundance of natural resources,     4    (especial) fresh water resources from numerous rivers and lakes. Pleasant. It enjoys lots of pleasant natural scenery and beautiful forests, in which trees are extremely tall, some     5    (measure) over 90 meters. Livable. Three Canadian cities — Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary are in the top five livable cities in the world. Empty. It is such     6     empty country where most of Canadians live within a few hundred kilometers of the USA border.

All in all, the trip was     7     (amaze). I feel one trip cannot help me picture the whole country,     8    I hope to take another cultural trip to Canada, with the     9    (intend) of learning more about this country. When I     10     (equip) with much more information about this country, I can become a bridge between two great countries — Canada and China.

2 . To ensure an excellent experience during your tour of the Mark Twain House, here are some guidelines and general information:

To ensure an optimum (最佳) experience, house tours are limited to 14 people, first-come, first-served. The Webster Bank Museum Center at the Mark Twain House & Museum is always your first and last stop as it houses our ticket counter, museum store, film, exhibits and cafe. All tours gather in the museum center before heading over to Mark Twain’s historic 1874 home. Mark Twain’s historic carriage house is the third building on our property, but is generally not open to the public. The hayloft (干草棚) has been repurposed into offices and the main floor of the barn is a space available for rent for parties and meetings.

The Mark Twain House offers only a few coupons and discounts. The price you pay for admission helps us maintain the beauty of this icon of American architecture. If you are lucky enough to find one of those special offers online or at your local library, keep in mind they are good only for the general Mark Twain House Tours. No passes or discounts may be applied to our specialty tours.

3 . Everyone loves a holiday! A little time off for some much-needed R&R (rest and relaxation) can be exactly the thing to rejuvenate and refresh from work. So if you're struggling to think of your next destination(目的地) then look no further. Don't waste time debating where to go, but let your blood decide.

Everybody has a lineage(家系). Recently, finding out more about our family origins has become popular. By the start of 2019, 26 million people had taken an ancestry DNA3 test at home, according to a report by MIT Technology Review. They believe by 2021 this number will have risen to 100 million.

This trend has been noticed by opportunistic travel operators. Some are looking to provide a service that both allows people to track their family roots and travel to the destinations where their ancestors originated from.

Airbnb, an online boarding marketplace, recently partnered with 23andMe, a DNA testing company, to offer recommendations that encourage travellers to walk in the footsteps of their forefathers. And they aren't the only ones.

The Shelbourne hotel in Dublin has its own 'genealogy butler(宗谱管家)'. Hellen Kelly offers advice to help guests track their Irish lineage using official records. This allows them to 'fill in the blanks of their Irish ancestry', she told Good Morning America.

The Conte Club, a luxury travel company. offers custom routes of travel based on DNA tests. "These experiences are about going deeper into who we really are." says Conte Club CEO Rebecca Fielding in an article in the Condé Nast Traveller. "It might be the most meaningful trip we can take."

After reaching Toronto, Li Daiyu and her cousin had a few hours to kill before    1    ( proceed )to the next leg of their trip to Montreal.    2    they went up the CN Tower to see sights. They    3    (astonish) to see misty clouds rising from the great Niagara Falls and water flowing into the Niagara River on    4    （it） way to the sea. Then at a restaurant in downtown Chinatown, they dropped in on Lin Fei, one schoolmate of Li Daiyu’s mother. She told the girls there are many Chinese people in Canada and Chinese people    5    （come） to Canada for over a hundred years.

The train left again and reached Montreal the next morning. At the station,    6    contrast to Toronto, they heard people talking in French. And they also found all the signs and    7    （advertise）were in French. Then they met a young man    8    （call）Jean-Philippe. They had a pleasant chat and Jean said the girls owed it    9    themselves to stay longer. He also told the girls Montreal is well worth visiting.

Then the train sped to the distant east coast towards Halifax. The girls dreamt    10    （happy）of the beautiful scenery of Montreal.

6 . Christmas is coming early this year for “Downton Abbey”《唐顿庄园》fans. Highclere Castle, where the beloved British show was filmed, will be available for one night only on Airbnb.

The stay will offer two lucky guests a glimpse at what life as a Crawley may have been like. The once-in-a-lifetime stay will take place on November 26, 2019, according to the listing.

Highclere Castle belongs to the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon, who still live on the grounds and will host the guests. The Earl is Queen Elizabeth II’s godson.

Reservations for Highclere Castle will become available on October 1 at 7 p.m. ET, and it’s first come, first serve.

The stay at Highclere Castle will cost $159.

In a one-night-only listing, Earl and Lady Carnarvon are inviting one lucky couple to “live like royalty” at their 100,000-square-foot, 300-room estate in Hampshire, England. The chosen pair will be invited to share dinner with the Earl and Countess in the state dining room, followed by coffee in the library. They will then retire to one of the gallery bedrooms with views overlooking 1,000 acres of parkland. Before they leave the following day, the guests can also expect breakfast and a private tour of the grounds that will highlight rooms “Downton Abbey” fans know well, including the drawing room and gallery bedrooms.

Guests will be waited on by the castle’s butler service(管家服务) during dinner and there’s strictly one butler allowed per guest, according to house rules.

Other stipulations for guests include that all newspapers must be ironed, they must wear cocktail attire to dinner, they can only gossip in the downstairs quarters, and there are no pets allowed. But have no fear, there are nine dogs on site who can’t wait to make your acquaintance.

This isn’t the first time the Earl and Countess have opened their doors to the public.

Visitors can take tours of the castle between 9:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily from July to September. The castle is also open on various days throughout the year. The couple even hosted the first public Christmas ball at Highclere Castle last year. They’ll be hosting another holiday ball this year, though the specific date hasn’t been announced yet.

“It’s an absolute privilege and pleasure to call Highclere Castle my home and I am delighted to be able to share it on Airbnb for a truly unique stay,” Lady Carnarvon wrote on Airbnb.

“Highclere Castle has been in the Carnarvon family since 1679 and has an incredibly rich history,” the Countess added. “I am passionate about the stories and heritage of Highclere Castle, and I am looking forward to welcoming our future guests.”

The event builds on the excitement for the “Downton Abbey” film.

The film follows the Crawley family as they prepare for a visit from King George V and Queen Mary in 1927. It premieres in theaters on Friday in the US.

On our way to the house, it was raining     1     hard that we couldn't help wondering how long     2     would take to get there. It was in the middle of Pearl City.

We were first greeted with the bark by a pack of dogs, seven to be exact. They were well trained by their masters     3     had great experience with caring for these animals. Our hosts shared many of their experiences and recommended wonderful places     4     (eat), shop, and visit. For breakfast, we were able to eat the papaya(木瓜) and other fruits from their trees in the backyard.

When they were free     5     work, they invited us to local events and let us know of an interesting     6     (compete), together with the story behind it. They also shared with us many     7     (tradition) stories about Hawaii that were hugely popular with tourists. On the last day of our weeklong stay, we     8     (invite) to attend a private concert on     9     beautiful farm on the North Shore under the stars,     10     (listen) to musicians and meeting interesting locals.
