1 . Australia is a vast continent rich in extraordinarily beautiful views. Here are some of the most beautiful views in Australia.
Mindil Beach, Darwin
Some of the most impressive Australian sunsets can be witnessed from Mindil Beach as the sun dips below the Arafura Sea. Beautiful colors of pink, orange, blue and purple paint the sky each night. From April to October, you can enjoy the festive nightlife of the famous Mindil Beach Sunset Markets which celebrate the wonderful view each night.
Sydney Harbor, Sydney
It’s a view known as one of the most popular shots of Australia. The famous Sydney Harbor can be best experienced from a bird’s eye view, one you can experience yourself if you have the nerve to climb 143 meters above sea level to the top of the Sydney Harbor Bridge. It will be an amazing view that you’ll remember for a lifetime.
Cape Byron Lighthouse, Byron Bay
The Cape Byron Lighthouse is the most easterly point in the entire country. Each year more than 500, 000 people visit the lighthouse which rises up above Byron Bay offering striking views of the bay, the beach and even an opportunity for whale watching when the season is right.
Whitehaven Beach, Whitsundays
For many, the typical Australian image is of a beautiful beach with soft sand and blue waters all around. The 7-kilometer area of sand known as Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island is about as beautiful of a beach view as one can get anywhere in the country. The beach is known for its powder white sand. The sand also doesn’t keep heat meaning that walking barefoot on the beach is comfortable even at the hottest points of the day. Whitehaven can only be accessed by boat, making this a picture worthy of any postcard.

For most people traveling abroad, their first choice is probably to make a beeline for (直奔) tourist sights. For me, I find lots of joy in grocery (食品杂货店) shopping on holiday.
As a vegetarian (素食主义者), finding restaurants that meet my needs is not always easy abroad.
The variety of foods attracts me every time I travel somewhere new. In Malta, I found the most delicious chocolate-filled cakes, a product I would struggle to find even in the UK.
Grocery shopping on holiday sounds unusual. But it means being involved in the day-to-day lives of a country’s citizens. I can pretend I am a local and put myself in their shoes. I can watch kids begging their parents for sweets, an international experience that needs no language, or watch couples pick up snacks and drinks for a party on a Friday night.
A.I ended up eating these every day for breakfast. |
B.The challenge of finding food is interesting, too. |
C.So I always make sure to book a place with a kitchen. |
D.Grocery shopping was a vital part of the holiday experience. |

G.By wandering around in a new country, I start to see what they value. |

10 . After ten years of teaching at a primary school, and always dreaming about my next travel adventure, I decided to follow my heart and combine it with a career (事业).
I have loved travel for as long as I could remember. My parents started travelling with me at a very young age. Our summer holidays, and a lot of our weekends, were spent travelling in our car. We made not only a lot of local trips but also some long journeys.
I was badly bitten by the travel bug in eleventh grade, when I took my first foreign trip to Paris. It was the first time I had ever been on a plane! And then I fell in love. Not a temporary preference for a new movie or a new dress.
Was I in love with Paris? Oh yes! But more so.

B.That was why I came to love travel. |
C.This was true love that lasts forever. |
D.I tried to take one big trip and a few small ones every year. |
E.I was actually in love with this entire experience of travelling. |
F.I loved seeing new places and learning about the history and culture. |
G.Since that first trip, I’ve travelled to many places in many different ways. |
