We will go on a trip to Qufu next week. Located in the southwestern of Shandong, Qufu is famous as the hometown of Confucius. The three most famous cultural sites of the city is the Temple of Confucius, the Cemetery of Confucius or the Kong Family Mansion. Together, these three sites were listing as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. Our tour group consisted of 6 men and 4 woman. After reaching in Qufu, we will check into a locally hotel. We plan to taste some delicious food of Qufu. It's great to having the opportunity to travel to Qufu. We hope to have good time there.

I grew up in a small town about a hour outside of Chicago. There were only a handful of local shops and cafes, and everyone know their neighbors as there were only twenty thousands people in the whole town! My parents used to let my brother and me walking to and from the kindergarten every day, and we were allowed to do whichever we liked before dark. The only thing we had to worry about was getting bite by insects or getting sunburned from staying outdoor for too long! After high school, I went to college in the city. Taking the subway was much faster than riding my bike. People from all over the world spoke languages I never heard before. There were huge department stores, where sold everything. The entertainment at all hours was my most favorite thing about the city.

I just come back from Britain last week. I was luckily enough to be one of the student from different countries to visit the UK from Feb. 16 to 28. We paid a visit to many places, like London, Oxford or the Lake District (大湖区). I learned much about British culture and history in London, that was my favorite.
I also liked Oxford, in which I saw much old buildings. The Lake District was beautiful, but it was pity that it rained heavily when they were there. The most excited thing for me in the Britain was that I made a lot of friends.

To enrich students school life and help us learn more about space exploration, our school organized a visit to the City Museum on the other day.
At the beginning, some pictures and videos about space exploration were shown to them. By watching them, we learned a lot about many great achievement that had been made in our country. The astronauts’ devotion to the space exploration of our country leaves a deep impression on us. Afterwards, we experienced a life and work of astronauts, like how they do in our space station. All the teachers and students were very excited, try and touching everything.
Such a great success the activity that it was highly spoken of. Hopeful, there will be even more activities like this.

I went to the Summer Palace on last week. At the gate I happened to meet some American tourists. I greeted him in English and then we began to chat. I got to know that they were college students travel in China. I proud introduced some famous places to them. They were busy taking picture and were impressed with the amazed changes of China in the past few years. After that, we go boating on a lake and had good time. We exchanged our email addresses so that we could write to each other in the future. They thanked me again and again and said they would never forget the time when we spent together. I was very glad to have a chance to practising my oral English.
