My father and I stayed at the South Lake Hotel for a week when we visit Beijing last month. It is in the downtown area, but it is easy to go to anywhere from the hotel by public transport. We lived in a comfortably double-room with big bath. What I liked best were the free high-speed Internet connection in the room. I checked my e-mail messages every day. I also shared with my friends many photos taking in Beijing. The food was wonderful with reasonable prices, and they enjoyed several local dish.
It is so a great hotel that I would recommend it to any friend who is going to Beijing.

I, together with my parents, took the trip to Hangzhou to get relaxing. Shortly after we arrived at there, we went to the West Lake. The scenery there was so beautiful that it simply took their breath away. Then we pay a visit to Xixi National Wetland Park, what is China’s first national wetland park. With its clear water and peaceful environment, it attracts million of tourists from all over the world every year. How an unforgettable trip! Not only did it offer me a chance to get closely to nature, but it also enabled me learn some new knowledge.

When I was in Grade 3, our school organized the interesting trip to a zoo in our city. I was very excited about the trip. Though I couldn’t sleep until late at night, I got to school at 7:00 am, half an hour after the reporting time. When I got on the school bus, there were only a teacher and three students in it. When all the people arrived, the students were divided into several teams leading by our teachers. After traveling on the road for about forty minutes, they arrived at the zoo. The bird watching area wherever there were different kinds of birds was our first stop. Then we also saw many other animals, such as deer, wolf and bears. Finally, it was time for us leave for home. The experience seems to be of little important today, but when I look back, I realize that how much it meant to me when I was young.

How is it going? This weekend our class are going to visit Yuntai Mountain, locating in Jiaozuo. I’m writing to invite you join us.
We’ll meet at our school gate at 7:00 and sets off at 7:20 by bus. Being active in Saturday morning, my classmates hope to climb Zhuyu Peak. Next some students may feel tiring, so we’d like to travel through the Red Rock Valley that afternoon, and play game at night. After seeing the waterfall on Sunday morning, we’ll return back. While traveling, everyone shouldn’t go to danger places, and it’s our duty to protect the environment.

Last summer holiday, I visited Xiamen with my parents by plane. My English teacher once tell us that Xiamen is a beautiful city where is worth visiting. We stayed here for four days. We lived in a small fishing village. On the first day, we visited to Xiamen University and Nanputuo Temple. Xiamen University is considering as the most beautiful or romantic campus in China. Indeed, it’s fantastic and its buildings are special. On the second day, we enjoyed the scenery of Jimei District. On the third day, we visited Gulangyu, which is amazed, and I like it very much. There is many small specific stores. However, the huge number of visitor made the small island crowded. Anyway, it was pleasant trip.

I had a golden chance to go on a trip to Hong Kong in last month. I had dreamed of visit it since my boyhood and it was first time that I had been there. I was impressed by that I had seen. Wherever I went, I saw many smiling face there. People in Hong Kong are kind, generous, easygoing and ready to help others. Much to his surprise, I saw that people there always kept order in public places. People, which were waiting for the next train at the subway station, chat in such a low voice as not to disturb one another. English is wide used in governments, markets, service centers and other fields. Stay there for only a week is a good experience that I will never forget.

During the weekend, parents and I paid a visit to Datong City by train. We arrive there at about 9 am. First we went to an ancient temple, in that we saw some impressive Budda statues. It is small but beautiful. So we stayed here for nearly two hours. Then we left for the temple to go downtown. You can’t imagine what crowded the street was! My parents bought some souvenirs in the local market. Meanwhile, I collected some postcard and funny toys. As we know, Datong is famous as its noodles, so we couldn't wait to taste some in a restaurant decorating traditionally. At 5 pm, we came back home happy.

Last month my family made about a trip to Brazil. We fly to Rio first. There we stayed at the Green Park Hotel, that was about one kilometre from the beach. It was very comfortable and really cheap. I could swam every day. There was music festival and a lot of famous musicians went to play there. We were such lucky to be able to go to some free concerts. Then we drove south to a city calling Paraty. The weather there were great and the people were friendly and nicely. The only problem was the food. There weren't many types of food to choose from and I got boring eating the same things every day. But all in all, it was a wonderful holiday.
