Since I was first in China, my life, and China itself,     1     (develop) and changed a lot. I came here in 2015 to travel and visit a friend. I had a fantastic time,     2     (explore) beautiful places in Beijing, Shanghai, Sichuan and Hong Kong within 5 weeks. China is a country rich in old customs, and one full of modern wonders. Although some things will always stay the same, other things are changing at a speed beyond     3     (imagine).

The trip to Mount Huangshan leaves me a deep impression. The scenes are so breathtaking. The rolling sea of clouds will remind you how tiny we humans are. The hot spring at the foot of the mountain will undoubtedly help you get     1     (refresh)! The amazing thing is that the colder the temperature gets, the     2     (hot) the spring!

What comes next is the endless series of steps. You can’t help wondering     3     hard it was then for the people to put all those rocks into place.

Beijing is home to more than 3,000 years of charming history. As a keen photographer, I take every opportunity     1     (explore) the capital and record everything I discovered     2     my lens, from hutongs to imperial palaces. But for all its ancient wonders, Beijing is also a place that fully embraces the fast-paced development of modern life, with soaring 21st century architectural wonders     3     (stand) alongside the cultural relics of the past.

Not long ago, a girl     1     (call) Daisy took a magic trip around the world. First, she came to Tibet in China to visit antelopes. But to her great     2     (disappoint), she could only see mountains and people. Beijing is a city of combinations, with clusters of old structures surrounded by high-rise buildings and tower blocks of apartments, many of     1     were built within the last 30 years.
