Everyone loves Adventureland! The Parks and Exhibitions were built for you to explore (探索), enjoy, and admire their wonders. Every visit will be an unforgettable experience. You will go away enriched, longing to come back. What are you going to do this time?

The Travel Pavilion

Explore places you have never been to before, and experience different ways of life. Visit the Amazon jungle (丛林) village, the Turkish market, the Tai floating market, the Berber mountain house and others. Talk to the people there who will tell you about their lives, and things they make. You can try making a carpet, making nets, fishing...

The Future Tower

This exhibition shows how progress will touch our lives. It allows us to look into the future and explore the cities of the next century and the way we’ll be living then. Spend some time in our space station and climb into our simulator (模拟装置) for the Journey to Mars.

The Nature Park

This is not really one park but several. In the Safari Park you can drive among African animals in one of our Range Cruisers: see lions, giraffes, elephants in the wild. Move on to the Ocean Park to watch the dolphins and whales. And then there is still the Aviary to see ...

The Pyramid

This is the center of Adventureland. Run out of film, need some postcards and souvenirs? For all these things and many more, visit our underground shopping center. Come here for information and ideas too.

2 . Chinatown, lying in Downtown L.A. near the city’s cultural center, is one of L.A.’s most popular tourist destinations.

I had been heading to Chinatown for about 6 years to hang out until 2012, when I became a member of the neighborhood. After moving in, I started to explore every corner of this amazing place.

A MECCA FOR FOOD

In Chinatown, a mix of new and old restaurants meets everyone’s needs. You can find dim sum at Ocean Seafood and tasty banh mi at Golden Lake Eatery. The cuisine in Chinatown goes beyond Asian food. People are still lining up for fried chicken at Howlin’ Ray’s.

Early birds should stop by Philippe The Original, a local restaurant that’s beloved for French Dip sandwiches, but also serves a good classic American breakfast. Night owls will want to head to Full House Seafood on Hill Street, which is open late into the night.

CHINESE AMERICAN MUSEUM

Food is far from the only reason to visit Chinatown. People interested in history will want to start their trip at the Chinese American Museum (CAM), lying just outside of Chinatown at El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument. The museum is housed in the Garnier Building, the oldest surviving Chinese building in a major area of California.

CENTRAL PLAZA

A big statue of Bruce Lee has become a must-photograph site in Chinatown’s Central Plaza. The late martial arts star once had a studio in Chinatown at 628 W.College St.

Nearby is Dragon Chasing Pearl, which was originally painted on the wall in 1941 by Tyrus Wong. The artist, who passed away in December 2016 at age 106, was famous for his work in films, particularly as the lead artist on Disney’s Bambi.

3 . You know you’re ready to see the world, but you need a little help in getting out of the door. With some thought and careful planning, you can head for adventure sooner than you think.

Decide how much money you can spend on a trip. You don’t need to be rich to travel, but knowing how much money you have will likely shape all other aspects of your trip.    1    Where you go, how you get there, where you stay may all rely on how much you have to spend.

    2    If you are working, check how much vacation time you have saved up. Check your calendar for any important dates—you might need to push your trip back a few days so you won’t miss your grandpa’s 100th birthday.

Make travel arrangements. There are dozens of websites you can use to search for suitable flights all over the world. Try the airlines’ direct websites.    3    

Book your accommodations. From hostels to luxury (奢侈)hotels, treehouses, and campgrounds, there are tons of choices when it comes to deciding where to stay.    4    If you want to meet other travelers and don’t mind sharing a bathroom, a hostel maybe a good choice.

Go to the doctor and get vaccinated(接种疫苗).    5    Some countries require proof of certain vaccinations to enter the country. Your doctor can give you an International Certificate of Vaccination.

“Traveling to China seems like traveling to another world. Its many famous scenic attractions impressed me     1     (great),”an American said. The following is     2     he wrote on his website.

My friends and I had a family visit in Xi’an,     3     old city with a long history in China. The hosts were retired or stayed at home without a job, and they were friendly to     4     (visit) from different countries coming their homes.

We     5     (taste) the true home-cooked dishes in the home of the family that we visited. For in-homing dinner, the host would prepare a list of menus in advance (提前). Our tour guide asked     6     (we) for advice about the food, so the host would try to cook what we wanted     7     (eat) at his home. We just enjoyed the locally cooked dishes. 9 . Special Museums You May Like

Momofuku first created ins tant noodles in 1958. In 1971, after a visit to America, he went a step further and created Cup Noodles. When he opened his museum in 1999, he filled it with over 800 cups of noodles, as well as fun noodle activities and a kitchen. Here you can also see a cool model of the work shed (工棚) where Chicken Ramen, Momo’s first ins tant noodle dish was invented.

Located beneath the water’s surface in the Canun National Marine Park, this museum became an instant hit with tourists and divers when it opened in 2010. To get a good look at the 500 sculptures in the museum, you have to first get into your swimming suits and bring a diving kit with you!

If you love the world of secrets, spies, missions and mystery, then get yourself over to this Washington museum fast. Opened in 2022, this museum has displays ranging from amazing tools to hidden cameras. Here you can also hear of real-life spies. And the museum’s Operation Secret Sleepover even allows groups of kids to stay the night and receive top-secret spy training.

This museum was opened in 1992. Here visitors are treated to a historical tour of toilets, of all things! Taking in versions of the toilet from ancient, medieval and modern times, you get to see how things have progressed from holes in the ground to tech-toilets of the future!

10 . The most popular of the amusement parks in Canada is Paramount Canada’s Wonderland. This park frequently gets the most visitors of any seasonal park in North America. One reason is its numbers of wild rides. For younger kids,the television characters are very exciting. You can see Fred Flinstone,SpongeBob SquarePants or Dora the Explorer. There are often rides starring these characters that are more popular among younger children. There are plenty of fantastic shows for families to watch as well. What’s more,the admission to the park includes the nearby Splash Works.

Another popular theme park is Galaxyland Amusement Park. Amusement park’s fun shouldn’t be limited to just the summer months,and Galaxyland is aware of this. As the world’s largest indoor amusement park,Galaxyland packs in it 25 breathtaking rides and attractions. It is also home to one of the world’s largest indoor roller coasters. Galaxyland remains one of the most popular theme parks in Canada for older children because of attractions like the Rock ‘N’ Ride Dance Party. This party combines music,music videos and unlimited rides from 8 pm to midnight.

One of the most visited amusement parks in Canada on the west coast is Playland. Playland,unlike other Canadian theme parks,has a long history in its city. Playland has all the fun of a carnival,with scary houses,merry-go-rounds (旋转木马) and a ferris wheel. There are also modern additions in the park, like a climbing wall for kids and a video game room. Playland is open from spring through fall, though only on weekends and holidays before June 18 and after September 1st.
