What to Know

As you plan your next train trip with your pet, note that we welcome a maximum (最大) of 6pets per train. Booking needs to happen in advance and only one pet reservation is allowed per customer. Pets cannot be booked with multi-ride tickets, bus connections or unaccompanied minors (未成年人).

When at the station, your pet must always travel in a carrier, which counts as one piece of carry-on baggage, and the combined weight of your pet and carrier is 20 pounds. While aboard trains, it must be able to sit, lie down and remain entirely inside without touching the sides of the carrier. It is not permitted in the Café, or Quiet Cars.

The Rules

Your pet must be at least eight weeks old and be unsmelly, harmless, not disruptive, and require no attention during travel.

You confirm that your pet is up to date on all vaccinations and accept responsibility for your pet by signing the pet release document at check-in.

6 . Do you know that every year volunteers collect millions of rubbish on beaches around the world? More and more people are searching for ways to reduce plastic use. A few small changes of your daily habits can quickly lead to less plastic waste.

    1    It only takes a few minutes to drink a bottle of water, but the plastic bottle has to take hundreds of years to break down. Make sure you have a reusable bottle to fill up instead of buying bottled water.

Choose reusable bags instead of plastic bags.     2     You can either keep your fruit and vegetables loose (零散的) or use reusable cloth bags. When you’re ready to check out, put your things into cotton shopping bags.

Take your dinner set with you. It’s helpful to carry a diner set and a cloth napkin in your bag.     3    Drink directly from the cup. Drinking straws (吸管) are one of the most common waste things that are collected during the beach cleanup. Instead of drinking your iced coffee tea through a straw, just drink it from the cup.     4    

Keep reusable bags or boxes nearby. Plastic-free living is easier if your reusable bags or boxes are easy to get, so make sure you keep them in your bag, car, or at your office.     5    Remember that our small efforts make a big difference in waste reduction.

Just under half an hour of walking here will take you on a tour of the impressive Grand Canal, Doge’s Palace, St Mark’s Square, Basilica and bell tower, all in only 1.3 miles.

Nestled along Portugal’s picturesque coast, Porto comes in third with its top attractions all covered by a 30-minute walking route. Meander along the Dom Luís I Bridge over the Douro River, head to the Clérigos Church Bell Tower and enjoy a riverfront walking place along the Cais da Ribeira. The Stock Exchange Palace is also just a short walk away.

Florence, Italy, secures its place as the fourth most walkable city in Europe thanks to its stunning attractions that can be seamlessly explored on foot.
