After coming to China, I experienced authentic Chinese food. In Beijing, the chef in a Sichuan restaurant offered us the     1     (please) of experiencing wonderful and different food besides friendship. In Xinjiang, their traditional foods are those     2     (cook) over an open fire. The kinds of food local people consume tell us a lot about themselves; therefore, we can say culture and cuisine go hand in hand, which are both worth     3     (experience).

When the project ended in 1980,     1     (被视为一个巨大的成功).     2     (这些国家不仅找到了一条未来发展之路) that did not run over the relics of the past, but they had also learnt that    3     (国家合作是可能的) to build a better tomorrow.

The spirit of the Aswan Dam project is still alive today. Perhaps the best example is shown by UNESCO,     4     (该组织实施了一项计划) that prevents world cultural heritage sites around the world from disappearing. If a problem seems too difficult for a single nation, the global community can sometimes provide a solution.
