With the development of the Internet, we have a new place which we can enjoy ourselves, finding information and communicate with others. Some people think the Internet will take place of the traditional library in the future. Sure enough, the Internet brings great convenient to our life. It is much easy to find a book we need with the search engine than ago.
In my opinion, libraries create a better atmosphere for studying. With all the students aborbing in their studies, I concentrate on my book. Beside, reading books give me a different taste and a better experience. So I would rather to use libraries more frequently.

Yesterday, I spend an unforgettable afternoon with my little friend Tom, which was the child of my neighbors next door. When I reached home after school, I found Tom sit on the stair. Because I knew he had lost his key, so I invited him to my home. He started to do his homework. Meanwhile, I called his mother and told her that had happened. Soon Tom finished all her homework. Since it was still early, I decided play Chinese chess with him so that he wouldn’t feel boring. Tom was very careful and he thought very hardly before making any move. Later, Tom’s mother arrived and thanked me for taking care of her son. Tom said he had a enjoyable afternoon. In fact, I also felt very happy.
This Saturday witnessed the success of a traditional Chinese lantern exhibition being held in the city museum. On that day, over 100 lanterns have their first airing. There was also a series of seminars when participants could get knowledge about how traditional lanterns developed into the various form in modern times. The most excited part was the hands-on practice. Participants learned to make lanterns with the guidance of some local folk artists. All participants, including me, thought high of the exhibition. Some said they offered the public a feast of colorful lanterns and allowed them experience traditional Chinese culture better. For me, unless given the chance, I’d like to participate in such activities again.
It is not easy to manage stress successfully. When you are stressed, every problem you have seems become worse. Serious stress can also lead to health issues, such as dizziness, skin conditions, and breathing problems. So that is best to find a solution as soon as possible. For minor stress, to wash your face with cold water or go for a short walk outside. To fight long-term stress, it is a great idea taken up a new hobby. Do something you really like — to ride a skateboard, go bowling, or watch a comedy — whatever stimulates your mind and makes you feel happy. Absorbing stress effectively, however, you must be sure to do something that completely takes your mind off everything else. If you can find something else to concentrate for a while, you will most certainly feel much more refreshed later on. So remember, to free yourself from stress, try and find something positive replace it with. After all, it is far too stressful to stress all the time!

Generally spoken, I’m a person who have the ability to control myself. Whether at school or at home, I can be aware of the dos and don’ts and always focus on my study, so I am one of the top student in my class. Besides, whenever I face with something or somebody unpleasant, I can calm down and in this way I can get along good with others.

When I was ten years old, I went to Yangzhou with two American. I became their guide. First, we went to the Shouxi River. They want to look around the river by boat. After buy the tickets, we got into a boat. We went around seeing the beautiful sight. After that, we went shopping. The sellers couldn’t speak English. Last week, our school holds a “Loving Post” donation ( 捐赠) activity in the school hall in order to helping students in poor areas. All of the teachers or students took an active part the activity. They donated lots of clothes, books and schoolbag to students in need. Beside, they wrote down their best wishes on cards, what would be collected and delivered to schools in poor areas. The activity was total successful. Last Saturday, I join a voluntary activity organizing by our school. My classmates and I took a bus and went to the Animal Rescue Center in our city, what some homeless dogs and cats were careful kept. As soon as we arrived there, the workers told us that how these animals were collected and what they did to help them. Then they were divided into small group and helped them clean the cages (笼子). Last year, my friends and I had a trip. We started early and traveled for a few hour on a bus.When we arrived, everyone was tiring. While we were getting off the bus, I noticed a young man, standing very close one of my friends. Suddenly, I realized that she was trying to steal my friend’s wallet!
