After completing my college, I started applying for jobs. I received many interview calls. Though I had confidence that I was c     1     to do those jobs, most of them said they had a p    2     for people who had relevant working experiences. I felt so     3     (失望的) and depressed. During this time I also     4     (咨询) an expert who gave me some advice, but I was still r    5     many times.

During the days when there was no money in my pocket, I received an interview call, and they would like to arranged a(n)     6     (预约) for me three days later. After receiving the call I thought that I should put my best foot f    7     . Before the interview, I learnt much about the company on the Internet. On the day of the interview, with my hair cut and beard shaved, I looked r    8     . Saving nature, saving humanity

Our planet — the only home we have — is on the point of breaking down. And the costs produced by our broken relationship with nature are rising.

Firstly, these years see more natural d    1    , such as earthquakes, tsunamis, typhoons, and hurricanes, causing people sufferings beyond     2     (描述). Worse still, human health is     3     (威胁), because we are now running the risk of picking up new diseases jumping from animals to humans such as bird flu and COVID-19. What’s more, due to environmental pollution, people in some areas have less a    4     to food, clean water or other necessities. Animals are struggling for     5     (生存) too. To avoid completely     7     (破坏) our home, we need to act g    8    , which means all the countries on the planet should work together.
