Last Friday, I was standing near a subway exit, tried to call a taxi. But no luck. Then I think of the taxi-booking app my friend had recommended and I booked a taxi through his cellphone. Soon it came, and I stepped in, feeling pretty proudly of my high-tech way and satisfied with the convenience brought by the app. So later I was upset to find that the diver was busy looking his cellphone to get the next order. Last week, our class holds a discussion about that a family should own a car or not. Here are the results. Many students think it’s necessary for a family to owning a car because it’s convenient, fast or comfortable. With a car, family member can go to many places together at any time. A car is especially important when a family faces emergencies. On contrary, some students think that buying a car is unnecessary for a family. Nowadays, it is common in China that some people tend to run the red light in group when crossed the street. Actually, running the red light are quite dangerous. There are two main reasons which people run the red light. First, some people are in such the hurry that they ignore the traffic lights. Others took it for granted that drivers have to stop because so many people cross the street together. In order to prevent from this dangerous behavior, more overpasses(立交桥) should be built to make easier for the public to cross the street. Besides, people should be educate to follow the traffic rules and whoever breaks the traffic rules should be severe punished.
