1 . Four Interesting Science Museums
Polytechnic Museum, Russia
For many guests of the capital, some of the most vivid childhood memories are associated with this museum. A variety of technical fields are presented in 65 halls-Mining, Space, Energy, and Transportation, etc. And the exposition(博览会)is the only museum project in Russia about the history of the bike. The interactive division "Technoplay" is open, where you not only can but also need touch most of the exhibits with your hands. In addition to self-experimentation, for personal requests the museum's experts will show many entertaining experiments.
Eureka, England
The Eureka educational center is a huge complex where modern science and technology are becoming clear, even to kids. The main exhibition is devoted to the human body, the laws of physics and natural things. Visitors can obtain energy or create paper with their own hands. On the area of the Eureka educational park there is a botanical garden and a collection of minerals from the rock types of Finland is presented there.
Deutsches Museum, Germany
In this museum you can see more than 100 thousand different items from windmills(风车)to medical equipment. All aspects of industrial production appear before the eyes. Several museum rooms are arranged especially for children-there are exhibits that entertain kids starting from three.
NEMO, the Netherlands
The largest Dutch research centre stands ready to share its secrets with everyone. This immersion(沉浸)in the world of science and technology will not be dull. All significant information is presented in the form of exciting games. All exhibits are interactive; visitors are allowed to touch, pull and press on anything. The museum is for children from 6 to 16, as well as for their parents-it will be interesting to all.

Mutianyu Great Wall
Your trip to Beijing isn’t really complete without seeing one of the “New Seven Wonders of the World”, the Great Wall of China. The Mutianyu section of the Great Wall is by far the most well-preserved of all. Taking a one-hour bus ride Mutianyu would be your ideal location for a half day of hiking away from the large crowds in the city. Also the authorities have allowed tourists to paint graffiti on a specific section of the Great Wall since 2014. The Great Wall was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1987.
798 Art Zone
This would be on the top of my list! Named after the 798 factory that was built in the 1950s. The art zone is home to various galleries, design studios, art exhibition spaces, fashionable shops and bars. You could easily spend half your day wandering around the complex, feeling the contrast of the present and the past.
Summer Palace
Located in northwestern Beijing, the Summer Palace is by far the city’s most well-preserved royal park. With its huge lake and hilltop views, the palace offers you a pastoral escape into the landscape of traditional Chinese paintings. The Summer Palace was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1998.
Sichuan Provincial Restaurant
While in Beijing, apart from trying the city’s best-known Peking duck the Sichuan provincial restaurant is one of the places where you can enjoy regional delicious food. It offers one of China’s eight great cuisines, Sichuan, which ranges from Mapo tofu to spicy chicken.

The Beijing Natural History Museum was the first large-scale natural history museum in China after the founding of the People's Republic of China. It is a large natural history museum focusing on specimen (标本) collection, research and education in the fields of paleontology(古生物学), animals, plants and anthropologyn(人类学).
The museum houses a collection of more than 270,000 zoological and other specimens. Permanent displays can be found in the Halls of Paleontology, Zoology, Botany and Mankind Evolution(进化). Its spacious galleries contain some fine specimens of fossils including various invertebrates (无脊椎动物), mammals, early humans, reptiles, dinosaur skeletons and eggs excavated in China. It also contains a large collection of minerals, as well as a fantastic display of naturally carved and polished stones used in the traditional Chinese art of miniature rockery(假山).
The Hall of Paleontology features fossils from the Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic eras, forming a wordless chronicle of prehistoric life that flourished (繁荣) between 1 and 500 million years ago. Among the exhibits are a 22-meter Mamenxi dinosaur fossil which is 140 million years old, a flying Yi dinosaur and a swimming Yu dinosaur.

7 . CHINA'S FOUR GREAT NOVELS
China's Four Great Novels came out in the 14th to 18th centuries during the Ming(1368﹣1644)and Qing(1644﹣1911)Dynasties, concurrent with the European Renaissance ﹣ which popularized the use of everyday language in Chinese literature. Professor Andrew Plaks, in his book Four Masterworks of the Ming and Qing Novel, observes that these fictional works used popular storytelling styles to increase societal norms and juxtaposed (把…并列)them against a set of flawed characters in order to raise serious questions about heroism, selfhood, and love.
Romance of the Three Kingdoms
Luo Guanzhong (1330﹣1400)
Chinese literature's first chapter﹣based novel which draws from the historic power struggle between the Three Kingdoms of Wei, Shu, and Wu (220﹣280).
Sample line: "The long divided must unite, the long united must divide; thus it has ever been."

Journey to the West
Wu Cheng'en (1500﹣1582)
Most widely told story of the four, it is a fictionalized account of the real pilgrimage(朝圣)to India of the Buddhist monk Xuanzang (602﹣664).
