There are lots of versions of mooncakes all over China. They have a variety of fillings among that I love the red bean filling better.
I remember try my first mooncake as a kid. We sat in my grandmother’s yard while the full moon shines brightly. It was very special moment. My grandmother baked mooncakes for the whole family. She turned flour and red bean into wonderful mooncakes like magic. When she placed them on the table, they looked like small, round and golden-brown. The deliciously smell soon reached my nose. When she took each bite, the sweet and mild taste slowly filled my mouth.
The mooncake is always my favourite because of its good taste and the happy memories it bring to my mind.

As is known to all, the Great Wall is one of the best-known tourist attraction around the globe. Almost everybody wants to pay a visit, but I am no exception. This summer vacation, the day I looked forward to coming at last. I got up and set off on the early morning, my brother Tim keeping me a company. After two hour's bus ride, we arrived at which looked like a large market. Seen millions of people talking, pushing and photographing, I immediate lost my enthusiasm. Indeed, the Great Wall is really something must be experienced with a little care.

It was at a friend’s costume party which I met Roy. Then I invited Roy over in my place. We listen to my CDs together and soon became best friends. On Sunday afternoon, I am reading my favorite book when the doorbell rang. It was a package delivering to Mum. After thanking the courier(快递员), I helped Mum carrying it in. Mum asked me to leave the work to Dad. But I decided to do it myself. Immediately, I opened the package, inside what there were some wooden boards, iron parts, and an instruction manual.
Had read the manual carefully, I began to work. With a screwdriver(螺丝刀), I fixed the frame first, and then put the boards on it piece by piece. After two hour of hard work, a lovely flower shelf appeared at front of my eyes. Mum and I were both pleased and we started putting the potted plants onto them.
When Dad came back, hearing it was I who had assembled the flower shelf, and he gave me a thumbs-up with a broadly smile. At that moment, my feeling of content and pride was beyond description.

Yesterday I met a young student, that came from the USA, in the Palace Museum. It was first time that I had met a foreigner, so I went to greet her in English. He told me that he was a college student travel in China and he liked China very much. I volunteered to show him around to the museum. He was impressed by the Chinese buildings and busy taking photo all the time. He said he hadn't seen so beautiful buildings before. After that, we go boating on a lake but had good time together. I was very glad to have the chance to improve my speaking English.

This morning my American friends Jack and I went to the temple fair holding in our city. When we arrived at the park, we were amazed at that we saw. There were such many different performances and booths selling tradition handicrafts. Since there were lots of games to play, food to eat, and performances to see, we spend at least six hours walking through crowds of people. Jack said he had great time because he not only tasted numerous kinds of local snacks and another dishes but also enjoyed live dragon and lion dances, waist drum dancing and other folk performances. We came back of home at about seven p.m., tired and happy.

I don’t remember exact how old I was when I began to ride a bike. I only remembered how I practiced riding a bike in early years. When I first successfully rode a bike, that remains a vivid memory, my brother helped me with holding the back seat of the bike when I was riding. “Wow, I did it!” cried I, as soon as he noticed I was riding without his hands hold it! I learnt quickly, and soon, even though my feet were not touching the ground, but I was able to cycle around six kilometer a day to school! It’s so lovely to remember which happened at that time.

My sister saw a lovely cup when we are shopping the other day. She liked it at once. Then she bent down and picked up to look at a price on it. As she did this, lots of tea splashed on his T-shirt! I had to try hardly not to laugh at her shocked face! My sister wanted get out of the shop as fast as she could when a shop assistant came over to us. It was turned out to be her own cup, that she’d left on the shelf by mistake. The assistant was clearly as embarrassing as my sister, for I just thought it was funny!
