Yesterday evening Alice was busy prepare for her tomorrow’s test when suddenly loud noises came into her room. Her neighbor was watching football match on TV in his room.The noises were so loudly that she couldn’t go on studying. On a snowy and wet day, I only had a few minutes to go out and got a coffee before I had to go back to work. I ran out of without my coat, in thin shoes and it was really cold. The other day I was getting into my car when I saw the old man walking up the hill. He looked tiring and, as it was quite a rural area, I waited to check that he was OK. He was fine, so I asked her where he had been. He said he'd been taken a train and a bus ride just get out. He liked getting out once a day. One rainy day while I was walking home with one of my friend, a truck came to a stop besides us. The driver put the window down and offered us a umbrella because he found we were wet through. I stood there and couldn’t believe in that a complete stranger is so thoughtful. The man insisted, so I grateful accepted the offer, thanked him and watched the truck disappear down the road. This man might need the umbrella himself, and he preferred to give them to someone else. It was a lesson to us that it was possible give without expect anything in return.

My soccer coach retired in last week．I wanted to do anything special for him at his retirement party．My mum makes the better biscuits in the world，so I decide to ask her for help．Mum taught me some basic step of baking．I insisted on doing most of the baking myself. I thought the biscuits were really well．My only mistake was that I dropped some on the floor after I was packing them up．
At a party, my coach, with a biscuit in his mouth, asked surprisingly who made them and joked,“I might have to retire again next year just get some more of these biscuits.”
My favorite picture at the party is of my coach and me enjoy the biscuits with happy laughter!
