My sister and I are riding our bikes outside our town. Suddenly, we saw something small moving in the wood ahead of us. We all stopped to investigate. Yesterday I met a young student, that came from the USA, in the Palace Museum. It was first time that I had met a foreigner, so I went to greet her in English. He told me that he was a college student travel in China and he liked China very much. I volunteered to show him around to the museum. He was impressed by the Chinese buildings and busy taking photo all the time. He said he hadn't seen so beautiful buildings before. After that, we go boating on a lake but had good time together. I was very glad to have the chance to improve my speaking English.
Once a man got on a bus for New York. He hid herself in the toilet, because he did not want to pay. But the passenger saw him. She tapped the person in front of her on the shoulder and say, “There’s a bum (流浪汉) in the toilet. Tell the bus driver.” The message was pass from person to person. But anywhere along the way, it was changed. The bus driver told that there was a bomb in the toilet. He immediate stopped the bus and telephoned the police. When the police came, they told the passengers to get off the bus or stay far away. Then they closed the highway, which resulted from a traffic jam. The police searched for several hour. Of course they found no bomb at all!

Last month, my classmate, John, caught bad cold. The news which he was running a high fever and ordinary medicine hadn’t worked on him immediate reached everybody in our class. Some recorded the English lessons for him so that he could keep up on his studies. Our English teacher calls on him at weekends. On thanksgiving morning I got up early to run in a race . It was just above freezing. So every runner was jumping around trying to stay warmly.
