My sister and I are riding our bikes outside our town. Suddenly, we saw something small moving in the wood ahead of us. We all stopped to investigate. As is known to all, the Great Wall is one of the best-known tourist attraction around the globe. Almost everybody wants to pay a visit, but I am no exception. How time flies! It won’t be long after I say goodbye to my high school life. Look back on what has happened, I really want to share one of the most unforgettable experience with you. There is no doubt whether birds are our friends. Therefore, a large number of birds are killed for food every year, that really causes more and more people to be worried. This morning, I , together with my parents, go to the second-hand book market near my home. There were so much people that we had to push their way through the crowd. Though the market was terrible noisy, we felt quite pleasing to be able to pick up a really good bargain. Just as we were ready leave, however, a heavy rain began to pour down. Yesterday I met a young student, that came from the USA, in the Palace Museum. It was first time that I had met a foreigner, so I went to greet her in English. He told me that he was a college student travel in China and he liked China very much. I volunteered to show him around to the museum. He was impressed by the Chinese buildings and busy taking photo all the time. He said he hadn't seen so beautiful buildings before. After that, we go boating on a lake but had good time together. I was very glad to have the chance to improve my speaking English.

On New Year’s Day I went to a stamp exhibition, what proved to be an unique experience.
At 9：30, I arrived at the exhibition with my precious stamp album, eager and excited. To my delighted, there gathered crowds of stamp lover. Immediately I joined them and studied the stamps one by one. I was attracted by the artists’ delicate design and wanted to learn more. Then, some of us got together on twos and threes to share our collections, chat cheerfully about the stamps. We even told stories behind it like old friends. Time passed quickly and it was time to say goodbye to the friends.
I had a great time. Not only I appreciate for beautiful stamps, but also I made new friends with the same interest. This was really a specially celebration for the New Year.
