The hardships involved in building the Great Wall are beyond imagination. Large numbers of people had to leave their homes and families to go to the north,    1    they worked hard for years. Of the legends about the Great Wall, the story of Lady Meng Jiang is the most    2     (move). Lady Meng Jiang lived during the reign of the First Emperor of Qin.
