Last week, our class organized a cooking show to improve students living skills. We were told to learn to cook a dish or share the experience with classmates. That evening when I turned to Mom for help. She suggested making steamed fish since it was easy for her to cook. Under Mom’s carefully guidance, I succeeded. When I was a little girl, I was teaching the basics of cooking by my mom. Looking back now, and I realize that those passing moments have became my treasure. While I am far from being a professional chef, she love spending my spare time learn to cook something new. On the one hand, it is challenging for my brain, what is of benefit to me. My mom is a best cook in our neighbourhood. All my friend love to have supper at my house because of they love my mom’s cooking. I especially love my mom’s dumplings, what have various kinds of fillings, and all of them are deliciously. When we have a neighbourhood gathering everyone insisted that my mom should do all the cooking.Though sometimes tiring, she is willing to cooking things for others. Seeing people enjoy what she cooks are her happiest time. I’ve decided to be good a cook as my mom so I’m learning how to cook now.
Today I tried cooking a simply dish myself. I like eating frying tomatoes with eggs, and I thought it must to be easy to cook. My mom told me how to preparing it. First I cut the tomatoes into pieces but put them aside. Next I broke the eggs into a bowl and beat them quickly with chopstick. After that I poured oil into a pan and turned off the stove, I waited patiently unless the oil was hot. Then I put the tomatoes and the beaten eggs into pan together. “Not that way,” my mom tried to stop us but failed. She was right. It didn’t turn out as I had wished.

I love my parents and often cook them in my spare time. I make dumplings most frequent because of three reason. First of all, dumplings are delicious and health. Secondly, I can put nearly all kinds of things into dumplings as fillings, what include different meats and vegetables. Finally, to the some degree, making dumplings are a form of art. There aren’t any set rules so it’s pleasant to trying different folding techniques to make my dumplings special. One day, I was cooking in the kitchen when the telephone rings. I went to answer it immediately. She was my close friend, Lisa. When we were talking on phone, the fire alarm sounded. Yesterday my mother let me to help her make chocolate cookies. First we measure ingredients(配料). As soon as the butter was soft, we put them into a large bowl and mixed it with sugar. Next, she asked me to add eggs into the butter or sugar. Then it was time to adding flour. You must be careful that you don't add too many flour at one time or you'll cover everything in a white dust. Final, we added chocolate and some nuts. The mixture put on a cookie sheet with a spoon and twenty minute later, our delicious creations were ready. After taste some, I found that cookies taste the best when they are still warm.
