My grandmother and mother are both well-known piano players. When I was 3 years old, I developed to an interest in musical instruments, especial in piano. The home environment has always inspired me to keeping practicing. Since I could remember, I’ve been playing piano even for about eight hours a day. I am a shy and quiet girl, because the instrument is a unique means for me to express me feelings. I have participated in various musical event at home and abroad. Combine erhu with contemporary music, I hope to make more people know this tradition instrument. It is encouraging that what I have done contribute to their better understanding of Chinese culture.
Music is the universal language to all human beings, what plays an important part in their life. It can make our life more wonderfully and help us to relax. Without music, our world will be like a wild desert.
There are different variety of music, such as pop music, classical music, country music, jazz, rap but rock music. Of all music, I like pop music best. For the one thing, with beautiful tunes, it is pleasant to hearing. For another, most pop music deals the topics of love and friendship which appeals to us young people.

The Student Union had decided to have a music party. It will be held in the first week of the May. The activities include singing pop songs and play classical and folk music. Bring your own musical instruments, please. A music contest will be including, too. The students taking part in the contest will listen part of a song or a piece of music, and then guess what it comes from. As you'd like to take part in the music party, please come and sign up for them before April 20th. The place of the activities will be told late. Come to have greatly fun!

Every morning and evening, many people gather to dance in our community square, where is designed to improve living quality. Although dancing could do good to their health, but the long-time dancing and loud noise causing by the loudspeaker really brought the neighbors inconvenience. I couldn’t rest or sleep well, which made me terrible upset. I felt so sleep in class that I performed badly in study. To solve a problem, I communicated with the organizers and suggested that they should shorten the dance time and reduced the music noise. Only doing so can they have fun and let others enjoy life. To their delight, they adopted my advices.

Music is an important part in my life, and I even can’t live with it. Actual, my favourite music is American country music, such as “Take Me Home, Country Roads”. It mixed some modern melodies; it sounds very nice and pure. Whenever I am in troubles, the soft melody will make me relaxing and forget all the problems.
I’m not interested in rock music. I think it is too loud and difficult for me to understand it! I can’t stand the strong beat, that nearly makes me crazy!
In word, music plays an essential role in my life. As for the important of music to my life, I think you can understand.

When I was a child, I spent more than ten years learn the violin. Therefore, I couldn’t understand “real music”. After I graduated at high school, a friend of mine suggested that we started to learn the guitar because we all thought it was cool. I will never forget the day on that we went to buy guitars in the guitar store. There I saw a guitar player playing the guitar, which I really enjoyed. He became my the first guitar teacher. It took me such a long time choose a guitar among several wonderful model. Now the guitar is the most importantly part of my life and I practice it every day.
