At Wu shan we made a detour up the Daning River       1         (see) some of the smaller gorges. The next day we       2       (go) through the big gorges on the Yangtze River. It was a       3       (love) morning as we went through the Wu Gorge. We passed the Xiang River, home of Qu Yuan, the       4       (three) century BC poet. There was so     5     (many) history along     6     Yangtze River. Every rock looked like a person     7     animal, every stream       8     (join) the great river carried its legends,     9     every hill was heavy     10     the past.
