After school, I was about to enter my apartment building when I saw a little dirty dog lie beside the dustbin. He looked extreme weak. Immediately the homeless dog filled me of sympathy, so I decided to take him home. I gave to him some food and a bath. After the bath he looked energetic and refreshed. What a lovely dog!
When my parents got home, I asked that I could keep the dog. To my surprises and happiness, they agreed. Up to now, he has become member of our family. Everyone had enjoyed his company.
Looking at the cute, happy dog today, I realize that I did the right thing. I just offered him a shelter and he has brought ourselves great happiness and laughter.

As is known to us, a large number of wild animals has been killed for their meat, skins, etc. As a result, thousand of animals have either died out and become endangered.
Actually, protect wild animals benefits the animals as well as humans. For an example, if farmers killed too many eagles, their corn and grain will be destroyed by rats. The reason is because with no eagles to hunt rats, their number will increase rapid.
Therefore, all of us must do something to protect wild animals. As for me, I have joined an organization in our town which aim is to call on people to protect wild animals and I have taken part several activities.

Last summer vacation, I worked as a volunteer in the Wolong China Giant Panda Garden in Sichuan, where I stay for two weeks. That I needed to do was to clean the pandas’ houses, feed the pandas or make food for them. One male panda I took care was named Jingjing. She was one of the most interested pandas in the Garden. Normally, the panda is a shy creature, not used to be in contact with other animals, particularly humans, but Jingjing seemed very differently. He often reached out one of his foot to greet me and smiled at me. Sometimes he tried to make me to laugh.
