Our school lies at the foot of a mountain with a small river passes by. It used to be a quiet, clean or beautiful place. Last winter, the smog occurred a lot of time. It brought much inconvenience to our daily life or did great harm to our health. Many traffic accidents had happened just because of the heavy smog weather. Our city is no longer what it was used to be. Nowadays, a lot of things have been done to make it more beautifully. Firstly, many trees have been planted around the city. Last term I joined in a geography research group. Our topic was environmental pollution and protection. We took many pictures to show the present pollution problems of our city. To our surprise, there are still a lot people doing silly things to our surrounding. Some people threw rubbish anywhere, but some cars give off harmful gases. What surprises us mostly is that waste water is sending into rivers by some factories. Worse still, people sometimes have to make their way through smog as the result of the pollution. Through our research, we have come to realize that everybody must pay attention for our environment and taking some measures to protect it.

As we all know, over seventy percent of our planet are covered by sea, where is rich in salt as well as fish. What’s more, there is a great deal of oil or gas under the sea. In other words, the sea is the place with so many important things we live in. However, with the world population increased rapidly, overfishing has become a serious problem. Every day a lot of rubbishes and waste water are poured into the sea, so the sea is bad polluted. As the result, the number of fish has obviously decreased. Besides, some are dying out or have been died out.
Therefore, it is time for everybody protect the sea.

Recently, smog weather has became more and more serious in parts of China. People forced to wear masks to avoid breathe poisonous air. To settle this problem, the series of measures should be taken. With the improvement of people’s living standards, cars have become popular means of transport, bring great convenience to our life. Therefore, they have also caused some problems such as air pollutions and traffic jams.
How can we solve these problems then? As far as I am concerning, riding bicycles is a good solution. For one thing, bicycles don’t need any petrol and they are energy-saving. For another, bicycles are environmental friendly because of they won’t give off waste gas. Besides, riding bicycles was a good way for us to exercise and it is beneficial for our health.
As a result, let’s take the responsibility to build up a low-carbon city by riding bicycles. Come on and join them.

There is too many people and too many pollution on the earth. If we moved to the moon one day，how would life be like there?
In my opinion, life would be much more comfort on the moon than on the earth. There wouldn't be pollution or traffic jam. We could go wherever we like in one minute by the spaceship, which would be much fast than a train or an airplane. We would eat whatever you like without being concerned unhealthy ingredients. This is a place where I am always dreaming about.
