Therefore, by no means can we drive after drinking. When we feel very tired, we should stop driving as well. What's more, be cautious
It isn't hard for everyone to grow up into a responsible members of society.
I can well remember an accident that happens on a rainy Sunday afternoon. I was on my way to bookstore and was waiting for the green light at a crossing when a girl of about ten was knocked down by a passing car, what drove off quickly. A man immediately rushed to the girl to give him first aid and I joined in without hesitation. Lucky she was not badly injured but we sent her to the nearest hospital. Comparing with the escaped driver, I am pride of what I did.
As a member of society, I am aware of that being responsible is what it takes to make a better society.

4 . The 30 miles of steep roads that snake through the mountains of Logan Canyon in Utah are enough to make most drivers' hands sweat. But Andersen,a 46-year-old father, wasn't expecting any trouble on the road last New Year's Eve,when he set off for a ski trip to the Bear River Mountains with his nine-year-old daughter Mia,four-year-old son Baylor, and nine-year-old neighbour Ken. Andersen had driven through the Logan Canyon hundreds of times over the years.
The weather was fine-but the higher they drove, the more slippery(滑的)the roads became. Rounding a sharp U-turn,Andersen saw a truck that had skated off the road and immediately tapped his brakes. In an instant, the car was sliding towards the shoulder of the highway, and then rolling down a steep ten-foot dam towards the extremely cold Logan River.
There was no time to tell the kids what to do. The crash had broken a few windows, and within seconds, the upside-down car was filled with water. "It was frightening how fast we were completely underwater,"remembered Andersen. "You were thinking--was this how it was all going to end?"
Having lost the sense of direction, Andersen began to search the freezing water for the kids. Mia had been right next to him in the front seat; now, in the blackness, he couldn't find her. "I thought, if I didn't get out, maybe none of us were going to get out. "Andersen got out of his seat belt, swam through a broken window, and, deeply and quickly, breathed air at the surface. That's when he saw a group of men, about ten in all, appear at the top of the dam. One after another, they raced down into the water. Saving all the three children, they began to shout at the father," Who else is in the car?" Andersen said respectfully," It was like the sight of angels. "

6 . When she was just 17 years old, Liz crashed into the back of a truck that was waiting to turn in a left-turn lane(车道). The crash is a life-changing one for her. Because of the crash, she’s blind in one eye, loses her sense of smell, loses some of her hearing, loses the ability to create tears, and she cannot fall asleep naturally.
“Initially, I thought I would not be defeated but clearly I was completely wrong. Apart from the medical problems, the hardest part about my life after the car accident was the fact that I was alone,” Liz said. “Everyone was away at college, but I wasn’t. I couldn’t drive or go to college. My friends who used to hang around with me were there for me at first, but after a while they stopped coming by.”
“I viewed her Facebook page, and she said on there: Can anybody please hang out with me today?I don’t have any friends, recalled Liz's mother, Betty.
In time, Liz and her mother teamed up with the US Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to make a video. They wanted to get the point across that texting and driving can have life-transforming consequences.
In the video Liz appealed to drivers not to text when driving. She admitted she was checking and sending messages via her phone when she crashed her car into the back of the truck.
“Don’t text your loved ones when you know they’re driving,” said Liz’s mother. “It can change their lives forever.”
“If you get a text, don’t look at it,” Liz said. “It’s not worth it.”

Yesterday, Jack and I were walking down the street when we saw the old man fall off his bike. I suggested we carried the old man to hospital, and Jack did not agree. He had learnt first aid, so I said that the old man shouldn’t be moving. We should leave him what he was and check him first. Seeing the old man wasn’t breathing, Jack asks me to call the emergency center and he used the mouth-to-mouth way make the old man breathe. Soon the old man began to move on a little and the doctors also arrived. They said what we had done were right.
