Organic food (有机食品) is very popular. It is also expensive. Some organic food costs twice as much as inorganic food. Some parents and pet owners pay up to 200 percent more for organic food while some people think organic food is a waste of money.
There is one main difference between organic and inorganic food. Organic farms do not use agricultural chemicals, such as pesticides (杀虫剂). This makes sure that the products are natural.
Some people think “organic” means “locally grown”. At the beginning, this was true. Over time organic farming became more difficult. The demand for organic food grew larger than the supply. Small companies had to sell out to large companies. There weren’t enough organic materials. This made it difficult for many organic companies to stay in business. Today, many large companies have an organic line of products.
Is organic food more nutritious (有营养的)? This is part of the debate. Many farmers and consumers (消费者) believe it is. They think agricultural chemicals cause health problems, such as cancer. Many health experts disagree. Few studies prove that organic food prevents health problems. Health experts worry more about bacteria (细菌). These can come into contact with organic and inorganic food. Doctors recommend washing produce very carefully.
Most people agree that naturally grown food tastes better. Is tastier food worth the extra money? This is a matter of opinion. Whether it is healthier or not may require more research. However, organic consumers argue it is better to be safe than sorry.

I’m a girl in my late twenties and I live in New York. I go from my 8-hour-a-day full-time job to my part-time job, where I work for at least 4 hours if I'm lucky. I have half an hour to get from one job to the next, and I spend that time driving to the job, changing into my uniform, and eating if I have time. Even on weekends, I work anywhere from 4-9 hours per day at my part-time job.
Every time I hang out with my friends or family, I’m never fully present. I’m either exhausted (精疲力竭的) or worried about my work. And when I’m with my family, everyone says that I work too much and should pay attention to my health. While I always argue that working hard is extremely valuable and admirable, I also believe that we all need to stop and smell the roses. Throughout the chaos (混乱) of my busy life, however, I’ve forgotten to do just that. Work has kept me so busy that I’ve missed everything that’s right in front of me.
Now, I’m making an effort to be present. I leave my phone in my purse when I’m with my friends and only take it out to take a few pictures. Sometimes, I go to a concert, watch movies or take a holiday to treat myself. I visit friends I haven’t seen for a while or try to call them, so we can talk for hours and catch up. And I make an effort to spend time with loved ones who I know won’t be around forever and I get to know the younger ones. Right now, I’m learning to do everything that makes me happy. I’m completely not guilty about my work-life balance because I know that enjoying life is truly worth my time.

The African Children's Choir(合唱团)is made up of children who are 7 to 10 years old from Africa. They have incredible voices and spirit that amaze the audience everywhere they go!
And they go to a lot of places, all around the world. And not only do they travel a lot, but they perform with some superstar singers and celebrities for heads of state. But this is not what makes the choir so special.

Through its music and education, the African Children's Choir changes the lives of its children. It allows them to see the world. It gives them hope and confidence. It shows them that everything is possible. The choir even pays for their education through college.
