If you have a long wait you could always watch the latest movies at the free cinema, go to sunflower gardens or take a dip in the rooftop swimming pool.

A five-minute free shuttle bus ride will take you to the SKY72 Golf Club, with three courses and a driving range.

There are seven gardens inside the terminal, an ice rink, a spa and the Museum of Korean Culture. There is even a casino（赌场）.

It has its own health club with a Jacuzzi, gym and swimming pool, or you can wander in the Zen Garden. The weary can take a rest in a sound-proofed pod with a bed for a while.

【推荐3】There are thousands of film and music festivals in and out of Austin, but there is nothing like ATX. Our focus is on the celebration of the medium: looking back at its history, where it is now, and where it is headed. Our weekend consists of screenings and events where participants can hear from actors, writers, directors, involved in all stages of bringing their favourite series to the small screen.

We have the function of a traditional film festival with screenings followed by Q&As from creators; and a series of events including parties, social media events, and “super secret happy hours”. Unlike traditional festivals, however, we celebrate the history of the medium as well as the future. Since we arrange 50% for the biggest television fans and 50% for those working or wanting to work in the industry, our panels (专家小组) range in topics from “behind the scenes” looks at your favourite series, to more technical topics on where the medium and how technology is headed. Eventually, ATX Television Festival has the goal of serving both the community and industry professionals equally by giving them the opportunity to discuss and celebrate all aspects of TV together.

Austin is approximately in the middle of America, making travel from East or West coast   more convenient. Austin TV production has a long history. We love our city and try to be part of our community by showing small businesses, local food, and working with arts organizations like Texas Film Commission, and Austin Film Festival—though we are not the “Austin Television Festival”. We are a national event that works with our members coming from all over the world.

Co­founders Caitlin McFarland and Emily Gipson have spent a decade in a variety of areas of the entertainment industry—from film & television production to working within the network & studio systems. Combining their knowledge, along with numerous good industry professionals that make up the Advisory Board, they are introducing a one­of­a­kind festival experience.

【推荐2】It used to be mostly the army that used small, unpiloted aircraft, called “drones”. The little planes were very costly. But as they have dropped in price more people have begun to use them.

The fast rate of development of computer technology, image sensing equipment, satellite navigation and smart phones has led to lower-priced drones. Researchers and developers have learned how to build smaller and less costly drones. Nowadays, moviemakers are using drones to film from the sky. Historians use them when they explore ancient buildings. Rescue workers use them to look for people. And now farmers are also using them to watch over their crops.

Romain Faroux is a French businessman, whose father was a farmer. He believed drones could help farmers. He has helped create a company which has developed a small drone that could be controlled by people on the ground. It’s called “Agridrone”. It uses a special sensor to examine crops. The technology used on the drone is similar to that used on a smartphone -- except it has wings. A computer program directs the drone to fly over the crops. The sensor on the drone records four different-colored “bands” of sunlight that are reflected off the crops.

Jean-Baptiste Bruggeman is another farmer in France who is using a drone. He says the drone flies over his crops at different times of the season and provides a lot of information about his crops. The pictures taken by the drone show him the exact amount of fertilizer the crops need. It also shows exactly where the fertilizer is needed.

Romain Faroux says farmers use information provided by the Agridrone to place fertilizer only in areas where it is needed. This saves money and reduces pollution. Before they used the drones, farmers would put the same amount of fertilizer everywhere. Drones also save time because farmers can examine up to three hectares (英亩) in about a minute.
