Yesterday I showed my friend Kate in Baoding city. First, we went to Zhili Governor Office, where is a very famous tourist spot in China. And then we visited the Ancient Lotus Pond Garden, where we had a great fun. Later, I took him to Baoding Botanic Garden. We both attracted by its beautiful scenery at first see. We nearly spent three hours walk around it. At about 6 pm we went back happy. From Kate’s high spirit I learned that she is very pleased with this visit.

It’s been a week after we left your family and we are now back home. Thank you very much for showing them around New York City and providing us for the wonderful meals. After we said goodbye to you, we went to Washington D.C., that we stayed for three days. My brother was so much fond of the museums there that he begged my parents to staying another couple of day. However, my father had to return to work on Monday, so we fly back last Saturday afternoon. It was really a nice experience. If you’d like to make trip to China some day, I will be better than happy to be your guide.

I am extreme pleased that you are visiting Xi’an this summer vacation. I’d like to express your warm welcome and offer you a few suggestion. Xi’an had a long history and 13 dynasties, included Western Zhou, Qin, Western Han, Sui and Tang, made Xi’an their capital. There are plenty of places of interest in Xi’an, among where the Terracotta Army is the most attractive. Besides, visiting the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Shaanxi History Museum are the best choice. If you are hiking lover, you can climb the Cuihua Mountain, on top of which you can get a wonder view of our city. By the way, you had better to taste famous Xi’an snacks.

Last Saturday I had a trip to a new opened park, called Grangfulin Relics Park. When I got there I found that the environment was perfect and that there was various birds flying around. That attracted me most was the strange building. It looked like a flooding house, the roof of which was above the water, and indeed it’s “body” was under the water. People could get there by going down the stair. In the building there was an exhibition which was very much great, for there were plenty architectural models and exhibits.
In a word, this park is a place worth visited again.
