German-born pandas arrive in Chengdu

Four-year-old panda twins Meng Xiang and Meng Yuan, the first giant pandas born in Germany,     1     (arrive) in Chengdu, Sichuan province, on December 17, the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding said.

After a farewell ceremony at Zoo Berlin earlier this month     2     (attend) by visitors, the pandas were put on a     3     (fly) to China on Saturday afternoon.
