Such groupings as ―Help Wanted, RealEstate(不动产), Lost and Found are made, the rate charged being less than for display advertising. Classified advertisements are a convenience to the reader and a saving to the advertiser.

I found a pizza deliver flyer in my mailbox, and decided to simply order a pizza as. I might have the previous week in Manhattan. The phone call to Cali Pizza was easier than anticipated and while waiting for the pizza I set about unpacking.
Unfortunately, after 45 minutes no pizza. I figured that my “easy” call really wasn’t and that I would need to make alternate plans for dinner. While thinking about what to do next, my phone rang. It was Cali Pizza calling to say that they could not find my apartment based on the address that I had given them. Once it was determined that I had provided an incorrect address, the clerk on the phone asked me to describe what I could see from my window. After some back and forth they seemed satisfied that they knew where I was.
A few minutes later the pizza arrived, This is when my “customer delight” experience took over. First, the delivery person apologized repeatedly for being late, then he showed me the small blue metal plate on my building with the correct address, and finally he refused to accept payment for the pizza because he was late. Net result: one delighted customer (me), and frequent orders from Cali Pizza during my two-year stay in Japan.
Such “customer delight” experiences become stories I have used to illustrate what it means to truly delight a customer.

The crowding of the parks has caused several problems. One is that there is not enough space for all of the people who want to use the parks. To deal with this problem, national parks may require reservations months in advance for some spots. The Park Service may also raise entrance fees at these places.
Another problem caused by increased park use is pollution. Some garbage and waste can be cleaned up, and the cleanup can be paid for by increased entrance fees. To cut down on noise pollution and air pollution, officials may decrease the number of cars allowed in parks. If this happens, people may use buses to travel around the parks. Officials may also limit the use of jet-skis, snowmobiles (摩托雪橇), motorboats, and sightseeing helicopters and planes.
The parks are also threatened by development that is going on around them. For example, around Yellow Stone Park, many motels (汽车旅馆), golf courses, resorts, and other tourist attractions have been built. Some of these developments affect areas that are used by animals. People will have to learn to agree about ways to protect the parks. If they do not, there will soon be no reason to visit these national treasures.

【推荐3】It may seem as if Mother's Day was invented by a company named Hallmark, but people have been taking time on the calendar to give a shout-out to Mom for a long time. The Greeks and Romans had mother goddess festivals — although their celebrations didn't involve the menfolk taking their underappreciated mothers out to dinner. A more recent tradition was Mothering Sunday, which developed in the British Isles during the 16th century. On the fourth Sunday in April, young men and women who were living and working apart from their families were advised to return to their mothers’ houses.
Mother's Day as it is observed in the United States started in the 1850s with Ann Jarvis, a West Virginia woman who held “Mothers' Work Days” to promote health and hygiene(卫生 ) at home and in the workplace. During the Civil War, Jarvis organized women to improve sanitary conditions for soldiers on both sides, and after the war she became a peacemaker, furthering the cause by bringing together mothers of Union and Confederate soldiers and promoting a Mother's Day holiday.
Jarvis's work inspired another 19th-century woman, Julia Ward Howe. In 1870 Howe published her “Mother's Day Proclamation”, which envisioned(设想) the day not as appreciation of mothers by their children but as an opportunity for women to exercise their collective power for peace. Howe started holding annual Mother's Day celebrations in Boston, her hometown, but after about a decade she stopped footing the bill and the tradition faded away.
It was Jarvis's daughter Anna who succeeded in getting Mother’s Day recognized as a national holiday. After her mother died, in May 1905, Anna started holding yearly ceremony on the anniversary and conducting a tireless PR campaign to have the day made a holiday. In 1908 she succeeded in enlisting the support of John Wanamaker, the Philadelphia department store magnate and advertising pioneer, and by 1912 West Virginia and a few other states had adopted Mother's Day. Two years later, President Woodrow Wilson signed a resolution declaring the second Sunday in May a national holiday.
It wasn't long, though, before whatever ideals the day was supposed to celebrate were buried under an amount of greeting cards and candy. By the 1920s Anna Jarvis was campaigning against the holiday she had been instrumental in creating. “I wanted it to be a day of emotionalism, not profit,” she said.

The Cessna Citation jet was noticed by the school’s media manager Jon Baker, who was having a flying lesson at Southend Airport. He thought it would make a good classroom. The school bought the disused private jet and said it was “a lot cheaper than building a classroom”. Once it’s washed and renovated (修复), it will be able 1o house classes of up to 5 children. “The children just want to get inside it, but we need to make it safe first,” Mr. Baker said. “I'll comfortably fit half a class when we're finished. The city's health and safety team has examined the jet and will be monitoring the renovation. The school says it will take up to four months to change the space with seating, lighting and solar panels. “We have a lot of experts on site, including Mr. Baker, who’s a real plane enthusiast. It's his hobby,” Ms. Reynolds said. “Our school has limited space for expansion and we wanted to find an exciting and unusual way to further attract our children and expand on their learning.”

The device, which is sold on Tesla’s website alongside hats and the company’s existing desktop and portable chargers, is a small, Apple-like device that costs $65. It has an integrated USB-C cable for when you want to plug it directly into your device, and a USB-A port for non-USB-C devices. You can get it in black or white, but it only comes with 6,000mAh of juice and 5W of output charging (The wired charging method gets you 7.5W).
For about half the price, you can get Anker’s 10,000mAh Power Core charger, which has 12W of output charging but no wireless charging capabilities. For $50, you can get an RAV Power 10,400mAh wireless charger with 10W of output.
Of course, nobody is really buying this for the functions. They’re buying it because it has a Tesla logo on it and it looks really nice, which is totally fair for $65 and the ease of use wireless charging allows. It’s not a bad purchase for a big Tesla fan.

October is approaching and new films will be on soon. Here are three breath-aking films which are highly recommended. See which will appeal to you best?
Rebecca
The most famous adaptation of Rebecca is the Oscar-winning Alfred Hitchcock classic starring Laurence Olivier and Joan Fontaine. How can Ben Wheatley's new version possibly compete? One answer is to have Kristin Scott Thomas as Mrs. Danvers, a stroke(中风)of casting genius which is enough to justify the film's existence. Another is going back to the book and trying to get closer to the actual story. You think you know it but you just don't.
On Netflix from 21 October
Possessor
Andrea Riseborough stars as an assassin(刺客)who can control other people's bodies and get them to do the killing for her. Her latest job is to kill an IT tycoon(Sean Bean)and his daughter(Tuppence Middleton)by possessing the daughter's future husband( Christopher Abbott). David Ehrlich of IndieWire claimed, "90 minutes of Andrea Riseborough and Chriustopher Abbott engaging in psychic(灵媒)warfare over control of the latter's body is more satisfying".
On 2 October in the U. S. and 9 October in Canada
Honest Thief
Liam Neeson plays Tom, a retired bank robber who promises to return his ill-gotten gains in exchange for a reduced prison sentence so that he can settle down with the woman he loves(Kate Walsh). But the two FBI agents(Jai Courtney and Anthony Ramos)assigned to fetch the money decide to steal it instead and frame Tom for murder. Unfortunately for them, he is a man with a very particular set of skills, so explosions, car chases, and shoot-outs all come.
