Last month our school held a sports meeting, what was aimed to develop our sense of competitions. Although the weather wasn't very fine that day, the students were very exciting including me. To tell you a truth, I went in for the sports meeting and my item was the highly jump. I didn't care much about my ranking. Instead, I only attempted enjoy the game because of I knew I wasn't good at sports. But a lot of my classmates try their best to compete in the game and got many good places. They were both the best in my eyes. I was grateful to them for their make a big difference to the confidence of our class.

I am a big fan of the English programs of his school radio station. And Li Hua is my favorite hostess. A charity sale was successfully held on our school playground. In order to organize successfully, we had made the full preparations. When the day finally came, the playground were crowded with people, interested in the things on sale. There were variously used books and magazines, ranged from classic literature works to popular science books, as well as second-hand goods in good condition. The notebook copy from excellent students were the most popular. Not only students but also teachers come to offer us support. Some helped selling goods, and others even sang songs to promote the sale! By the end of the activity, to everyone's surprise, we had raised 5000 yuan in total! All the money collected will go to the students on need to help with their studies. It's such a rewarding activity which students all look forward to the next charity sale.

In order to enrich our school life, our teacher invited the old man to teach ourselves how to make clay figures last Friday. This week I took part in a knowledge competition on the Silk Road was held in our school, which gave me a great sense for achievement. A few days later, I participated the first round of the competition, a difficult written test. Since there were many competitors, I succeeded in entering the final. It was held this morning and on the stage in the hall, I answered most of the questions accurate. Finally, I won out! When interviewing by the school TV station, I expressed my proud in our splendid culture. The competition not only broadened my knowledges but also encouraged me to learn more about our own culture in the future.

Our school organizes football matches in every year. Some students are willing take part but they were worried that they don’t have enough time. I want to share some of my idea here. Our annual sports day, held earlier this month, was full fun and excitement. The entirely school, including the playground, was decorated with flags and flowers. Many boys and girls took part in the event. The games have included football and basketball matches, races, jumps and other track event. I took part in the 50m and 100m races or received a silver cup in the former. The 100m race, which was very excited, was won by my friend Mansoor. My friend Rajat gets the first place in the long jump. But my classmate Lucy fell and injured himself during the high jump. The event came to the close with the distribution of prizes, which was given away by our headmaster.
