March 7 was a memorably day because I participated in Green Action hosted by the Students’ Union. We, along with my classmates, headed to the suburbs to plant trees in the morning. Upon arrival, we begun to work immediately. I was responsible for dig the holes. Some of my classmates were planting the seedlings or some were watering them. Then we put up a board to remind people protecting the trees. We took some photo to record this meaningful activity after we left. Seeing the lines of trees, I was filled with a sense of the achievement, for I did my part to protect and beautiful our environment.

I chose to spread knowledge in a rural school rather than donate some used books and stationary, that I think shows equality and respect to those being helped. On my arrive after a long and rough ride, I was greeted by exciting students with great enthusiasm. They felt, curiously when I told them my plan to teach them scientific experiments. It took a week that I was ready to start. I demonstrated, guided them to conduct the experiments and explain the principles.
Looking at their widening eyes, I was happy to see that the seed of science had planted in their hearts. As a volunteer, I expect for no material, rewards. Beside, nothing is more rewarding than to help the kids to develop his curiosity about science.
On a cold winter afternoon, I bought some vegetable and fruit at a shop. The man in front of me was paying the bill and found that he didn’t have enough money. The cashier asked him return some of the selected items. The man tried to persuade the cashier that he would pay the bill late. But the cashier couldn’t help with him. It seemed that he had to give up that he wanted. I took out 20 yuan. He hesitated to take them away from a stranger. I gave him a sweetly smile and said, “Come on. This is how it’s spread around the world.” He accepted my offer and give me another smile. Out of a shop, the weather was very cold, and my heart was warm.
