My father and I stayed at the South Lake Hotel for a week when we visit Beijing last month．It is in the downtown area, but it is easy to go to anywhere from the hotel by public transport. We lived in a comfortably double-room with a big bath. What I liked best were the free high-speed Internet connection in the room.I checked my email messages every day.I also shared many photos taking in Beijing for my friends. The food was wonderful with reasonable prices, and we enjoyed several local dish.It is such great hotel that I would recommend it to any friend of me who is going to Beijing．

Last Sunday, I went sightseeing with my friends in the Fairy Lake Park. The park was full of freshness and beautiful of spring, with the sun shining and birds sing. When I was enjoying the fantastic scenery around, something unpleasant caught their eyes. A young couple in a boat was eating, talking and laughing loudly as if they were the only people in the world. Which is worse, they spat and even threw rubbish into the lake, total ignoring the noticeable sign “No Littering” nearby. What shame!
Such behavior leaves me deep in thought. If all visitors to the Fairy Lake Park do as the couple did so, the lake will be severely polluted or soon turned into a huge dustbin.

Every time my birthday comes, I am very exciting, because I can receive many different kind of presents from my family and friends. Last week, I spend a happy weekend with my parents. We took a train to another city and went on a short tour as his birthday present. On the train, we listened to music and we all felt very happily. And my parents told me a lot of stories what happened in my childhood. Sometimes they also told me stories about themselves, too. When we arrived in the city, we visited many famous buildings or learned about their history. How a wonderful time! This trip was best present for me, and I will never forget it.
