Life can be stressful. Sometimes you’ll have to deal with your stress positively.     1     Most importantly, don’t fight alone - ask for help from   a friend and, if necessary, an expert.

Think more positively.

Write down even the simplest things such as a bed to sleep on, quality food, warmth, safety or good health.     2     This will keep your energy and mind focused on good feelings. Make positive statements such as, “I can deal with this, one step at a time”.

Treat your body right.

Your body needs to be healthy and happy.     3     Drink water often and stay off alcohol which always adds to stress one way or another. Caffeine is also known to raise stress levels. Eat healthy meals and more fruits. Exercise a little every day and have enough sleep, and, if possible, get into regular sleeping habits.

Be organized.

Schedule your day and arrange your tasks orderly. Check off the things that you’ve completed on the ”to-do" list. When writing your "to-do" list, you should know your limits.     4     Do your most unpleasant or most difficult task at the beginning of the day when you are fresh, avoiding the stress of last-minute preparation. Review your goals at the end of the day and think about everything you have achieved.

Learn to relax.

5     It really gets you relaxed and happy. Lie down on a bed with your eyes closed for a few minutes. Try to let your mind go blank. You may eventually fall asleep if you are relaxed enough.

A.Listen to calm and soft music.
B.If you are under stress, you can’t think clearly.
C.Start writing tomorrow’s "to-do" list before you go to bed.
D.Your choice of food is very important when you deal with stress.
E.Say something positive to yourself as soon as you wake up every morning.

【推荐1】How to Get Close to Classics

Many people do not read the classics. Their reasons begin with the language being too difficult and end with the storyline too distant to the present context.     1    . It is a gradual affair. We begin as acquaintances and eventually become close friends with private jokes between us. So how does one approach a classic?

Don’t be afraid to be confused.

We get it: it’s hard to power through confusion. It doesn’t feel great when a book makes you feel confused. Every reader has to start somewhere.     2    . Instead, be proud of yourself for trying, and get excited about all the new things you’ll learn.

Research, research, research.

3    . Researching the author and the time and place they were writing about can help you situate yourself during tricky passages. The author’s experience, viewpoint, and historical context might help you make the connections you might not have otherwise.

    4    .

This step is self-explanatory. While it ‘s not hard to just pick a book up, we know how difficult it can be to convince yourself to do so. Remind yourself that it’s a new learning chance. Take a deep breath, then leap onto the deck of Melville’s Pequod or step cautiously through the gates of Castle Dracula.

Remember: there is no right answer.

There is no perfect way to read a classic text. There is no fixed interpretation and no exact answer. Your goal as a reader is to discover what aspects are meaningful to you. Just enjoy the process.     5    !

A.Before you turn to page one, do some digging
B.Just pick the book up and get down to reading
C.Love for classics is obviously not at first sight
D.A good start can help you get out of the confusion
E.Never beat yourself up for not knowing something
F.However, you can get close to classics immediately you pick it up
G.Even if your interpretation of the work isn’t perfect, it’s still valuable

My mother has always said “ humble(使谦逊) yourself.” I appreciate it because when you travel, depending on your passport, depending on your social class, depending on so many different things, you can go to places with a lot of ego(自我), or you can humble yourself and know that everyone is equal.

What are some things people can do to travel more sustainably(可持续地)?

Single-use plastic is one of the biggest things harming Earth right now, so a lot of my focus is on that.     5     If you’ re in a restaurant and you don’ t have a big appetite, ask for a half portion. 【推荐3】Travelling is a very good activity. When you are fed up with your work and when you can get a holiday, you can go to the beautiful spots to enjoy the beauty of nature and the special character of other cities.
