Suzhou, referring as the Venice of the East, is an attractively city located in the southeast of Jiangsu Province. It had been listed by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage. The Classical Gardens are the symbol of the city, there you can have better understanding of China. Because these gardens are not large, they’re unique to their designs. It bring together the beauty of nature, architecture and painting.
I believe you will enjoy your time in Suzhou.

Last Sunday, I accompanied two of my foreign friend, Tom and Mary, to travel around Beijing. We began with touring South Luogu Lane(南锣鼓巷) , which is known for their traditional Chinese architecture. I’m more than willing to tell you anything about my hometown. I live in Pingyao, a county in Shanxi Province, what attracts a large number of tourists from all over the world in every year. Beijing, that is our capital and also political center, is located in the north of our motherland. As we all know, it has so a long and interesting history. Therefore, my advice to your friend is that you should visit as many historical place as possible. For example, the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the Ming Tombs and the Temple of Heaven is all fascinating places to visit to. My two piece of advice is that he should buy a bicycle as soon as he could. Bikes are great use and convenience for getting around Beijing as the traffic can sometime be a problem during rush hours.
