Last Sunday, I joined a voluntary activity organized by our school to visit the child in the west of the city. We set off on eight o'clock by school bus but it took about an hour. When we got there, the first, we handed out the school things we have prepared for the kids. Then we gave them some wonderfully performances and the kids sang some songs for them. After that we played games，which made us very happy. We said good-bye and returned our school in the late afternoon. That I learned from this experience is beneficial. Hoping to get involved in such activities again.

There was a lively discussion holding in my class last Friday. It was main about protecting the fine Chinese culture. Some suggested raising people's awareness of preserving our culture and making people fall in love with them. Last Friday, our school has held a mini-marathon. The marathon had a distance of 10,000 meters along the lake, when the air is fresher and the traffic is more crowded. I took a part to the competition, too, because it was a good chance build up our strength and experience nature. Those who finished run the distance could win medals. The top three students had access to their school track and field team. I was among them. As I was tired, I felt proud of myself. Hopeful, our school will hold such an activity every years.
