The well-known Chinese opera, Hua Mulan, was putting on in the Grand Theatre last Saturday afternoon. It is based in a story about a young girl are named Hua Mulan. She replaced（代替）her father to join the army in disguise（乔装）as a gentleman and saved her country from the enemy. It was well worth watch. I invited my friend Mary, an exchange student in our school, to seeing it with me. I knew she was very interested in Beijing Opera. Chinese Farmers’ Harvest Festival, fallen on the Autumnal Equinox every year, is a festival to express Chinese farmers’ good wishes for a better life and in the beauty of the countryside. On September 24th, I, together with a friend of me, was very lucky to attend the five Chinese Farmers’ Harvest Festival held in Gaoling, Fuliang. Not only we see many agricultural exhibits there, and we also enjoyed a variety of wonderful performances. However, what impressed me most were some agricultural products made of ceramics, which colors and carvings were vivid, even if they were real. It was really fascinating and I full enjoyed myself. Additionally, I witnessed the significant develop in rural areas in Jiangxi.
