Breakfast simply means “break the fast”. Your body spends at least 6 to 12 hours each night in a fasting state. In the morning your body needs energy for the day’s work ahead.
A good breakfast should provide 1/3 of your total calorie needs for the day. On average, we eat 400 less calories for breakfast than for dinner. If you don’t feel like having breakfast in the morning, try eating a lighter dinner earlier in the evening or save half of your dinner for breakfast in the morning.
If you still aren’t hungry in the morning, start with something small like juice or toast or have a nutritious (有营养的) mid-morning snack later when you are hungry.
So, you say you are on a diet. Some people fear that eating breakfast will make them hungrier during the day and they will eat more. It is true that eating breakfast is likely to make you feel hungry throughout the day. That is because your body is working correctly. Although you may feel as if you are eating more all day long, in reality you are probably not.
Not eating breakfast can also cause you overeat, since a fall in blood sugar often makes you feel very hungry later. To make matters worse, since your body is in a slow state, it will not be able to burn those extra calories very efficiently (有效地). If you feed your body healthy snacks and meals throughout the day, you are less likely to become hungry and stuff (填饱) yourself as soon as you begin to eat.
Since breakfast is the first and most important meal of the day, choosing the right food is important. The best breakfast foods are fruits, juice, lean meat and grain products such as bread, rice, noodles and cereals.

Lessard is a researcher at Australia's CSIRO. He is an expert on flies. According to Lessard, more than 159,000 types of flies have been found around the world. The number forms 10﹣15 percent of all the known animals on Earth!
Shocked? The truth is that you can never get away from flies,Lessard says. If you are a chocolate lover, you really should thank flies. Because there would be no chocolate without them!
A tiny kind of fly is the only known pollinator (授粉者) of the flower of the cocoa plant. These special flies are native to countries that are rich in cocoa, such as Brazil and Ecuador. They play a great role in the world's big sales of chocolates. Flies,as well as some other insects, also pollinate Australia's tea trees. Flies are a huge driver of the economy, but we take them for granted.
Flies can also be useful in other cool ways. Take black soldier flies for example. Scientists in Australia,India and US are turning black soldier fly larvae (幼虫) into a nutritious feed for livestock(家畜). The larvae are 45 percent protein. They find that chickens fed on the larvae grow larger, and don't experience any harmful side effects. As well as that,Chinese researchers from Wuhan's Huazhong Agricultural University have made oil from the black soldier fly larvae and turned the liquid into a form of biodiesel (生物柴油). So someday our cars could be powered by flies!

You should do your best to provide immediate assistance for other motorists, passengers or pedestrians that may have been injured in the accident. Take extra care when attempting to move an injured person; if possible, wait for an ambulance to arrive. Call 911 to report any injuries and call for medical assistance. If you have been injured in a car accident, it is important to stay calm. If possible, ensure that you are out of danger and not blocking any oncoming traffic. Call or wait for help, and do hot attempt to move if you are unable to do so. See Auto Accident Injuries for more information.
If you hit an unattended vehicle, you must make an effort to find the owner or driver, and follow these same procedures.
