Today I am glad to participate in an activity, which theme is Chinese weaving art, making me to have a taste of traditional Chinese culture deeply.
This activity held in my school library where I appreciated numerous art works, ranging from chairs to decoration. In addition, I was lucky enough to get a opportunity to learn what to weave Chinese knotting on the spot. During that time I was very enjoyable that I fell in love with the magical work immediate.
As far as I am concerned, not only do such an activity make me further feel the beauty of the weaving art, but also it is beneficial to arise people's aware of carrying forward traditional Chinese culture.

During the holiday, I tried a new way to explore the Forbidden City, where left me with deep impression. To avoid waste time buying a ticket on the spot, I made a reservation online. I got my ticket from a machine without difficulty and start the exploration. I was deep attracted by the grand architecture. To my excite, I could scan the QR codes to get detailed informations. With the VR glasses on, I even found me back to the time when the palace was under construction. How impressive! During my last summer holiday, I go to the countryside to enjoy myself. I saw mother bird in her nest in a big tree, watching some of her baby flying away. When the news came which I was not chosen as a member of the volleyball team, I was so disappointed that I almost decided give up. However, my best friend Mary analyzed her problems. She pointed out that my lazy and poor preparation led to my failure. From then on, I devoted all my spare times to practising playing and consult my teachers about skills. When another chance came up, I have got fully prepared, as a result of which, I was chosen but became one of the most important players in our school team. Last Saturday, my classmates and I went to the Nanshan Community. The community when we participated in a volunteer activity has organized by our school is about three kilometers from our school.
We got there at nine. Divided into three groups, we began to work. Group One searched old furniture which was abandoning in the corridor and dealt with it. Group Two picked up litter but cleaned public areas to create the more comfortable environment. My group was responsibly for cleaning all the equipments in the community. I devoted me to my task, just like everyone else.
At about half past eleven, we returned to school. Though feel tired, we were happy.

Life is a mystery and we will never know that is waiting for us. But one thing is for sure: problems are unavoidable. For us, it's the process of solving problems that help us grow. Making the speech used to be a big problem for me. With a strong accent and terribly pronunciation, I failed in speech competition many times, but l didn't hold back. In the contrary, I considered it a good chance for me to improve myself. I recorded my speech, listening to it and corrected my pronunciation. Now that I'm confident enough to give my best speech to you all.
