On our way to the house, it was raining     1    hard that we couldn’t help wondering how long it would take     2    (get) there. It was in the middle of Pearl City.

Lijiang Ancient Wall Painting is a special culture and art    1    (absorb) the culture of other nationalities. The Yangtze, China’s longest river,     1    (rise) from the Qinghai-Tibet plateau, flows eastwards for 6300 kilometers, eventually reaching Yuantuojiao, in Jiangsu Province in eastern China,     2     it flows into the sea. Around the coastline of the Yellow Sea in China, hundreds of kilometers of coastal wetlands and zones have formed. The Yangtze River Delta next to the Yellow Sea, is one of China’s most economically developed and densely populated regions.     8     the economy is developing rapidly, so far the environment has been protected well and a large number of coastal wetlands     9    (preserve). I live in Newquay，    1     is a small town on the Atlantic coast in the south of England. It has got great     2    (beach) and is the     3    (good) place to surf in the UK. There are lots of surf schools where you can learn how     4     (surf). I go surfing     5     my friends every weekend. My favorite place is Fistral Beach.

I love Newquay because there are lots of other things to do as well     6     surfing. If you like water sports, you can go water-skiing or coasteering. Coasteering is different because it combines rock-climbing,     7     (jump) and swimming in the same activity, but you should always go with a special instructor.
