Whenever we are faced with problems, cooperation plays a important part in getting us out of trouble. There was a time when I was too proud that I overlooked my classmates, refusing work together with them. Therefore, there was no doubt that I was left alone, suffer from loneliness and failure. Unfortunately, a teacher taught me the value of cooperation. From then on, I learned to help others or turn to my friends for help whenever I had difficult finishing a task on my own. Surely cooperation made a great difference. Now I am getting on well to my friends. My experience has been taught me that only if we attach great importance to cooperation can we go beyond myself.

I was only 10 when we move to Switzerland. I remember that I enjoyed flying across the whole country and that I wasn’t very happy about leave my friends. Last year, I went to Australia for a short-term study like an international student. One of my classmates suggested we shared our favorite foods from our own countries during New Year’s party. We all agreed to this wonderful idea and cooked my unique dishes for the party. Hariyati from Indonesia shared a kind of cookie what was shaped like elephant ears. Susan from South Africa prepared some sweet dumplings packed in several banana leaf. Chiemi from Japan cooked special rice balls mixing with fish. And I was served sliced noodles, my hometown — Shanxi’s local food. These variously foods were all delicious. Therefore, my favorite was still Chinese food.
Last week, I have the honor of experiencing teaching. Our school asked some volunteer to teach some kids which lived in the countryside.
I treasured this chance so much and joined in the team. When I met those kids, they were so happily to see me and listened to me carefully. Given the warmest welcome by them, I enjoyed being their teacher. However, I tried my best to teach them and play games with them.
Back to school, I missed our students so much. They liked me a lot but some of them even kept in the touch with me. I felt so proud being a teacher. This precious experience helped me make up my mind to realizing my dream.
