Ghibli Park (ジブリパーク) is a theme park about the popular animated movies by Studio Ghibli. A second area, “Hill of Youth”, features a shop from Whisper of the Heart and another recreation from The Cat Returns. The third is “Dondoko Forest” with a full recreation of the house from My Neighbor Totoro and a Totoro-themed playground. One of the two areas that will open later (“after 2023”, the park’s press office said) is “Mononoke Village”, referencing Princess Mononoke and her adventure among large forest animal gods. The other is “the Valley of Witches”, which will include some parts from Howl’s Moving Castle, and Kiki’s Delivery Service, about a hardworking young witch.
There is currently no pass that allows visitors to see all areas of Ghibli Park. You must buy separate tickets for each attraction you want to visit.

Although London has much more concrete than a national park usually would, it is home to more than 13,000 kinds of wildlife. These species live in its 3,000 parks, along with 15,000 varieties of flowering plants, and more than 300 species of birds. In fact, 47 percent of the land in London is green space.

Daniel believes that making London into a national park will protect the animal life and green spaces in London. He hopes it will also encourage people, especially young people, to spend more time outdoors. Daniel takes his own son out to explore in London, and he thinks that other parents should do the same.
