【推荐2】Anyone may visit the White House during certain visiting hours. Any United States citizen who wants to visit the White House should contact his or her member of Congress to make reservations (预约). Reservations can be made six months in advance and must be made no less than 30 days in advance.
A limited number of spaces are available for each tour day. Reservations are free. If you are a citizen of a foreign country and would like to visit the White House, contact your local U.S. embassy.
Self-guided tours are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 to 11:00 in the morning. They are also available on Fridays from 7:30 to noon and on Saturdays from 7:30 in the morning to 1:00 in the afternoon.
Visitors can also visit the gardens during the spring garden tour. Garden tour dates are announced yearly. The event is free, but tickets are required. The White House offers opportunities to school-aged children to visit the grounds. Kitchen garden tours are offered every Tuesday and Thursday to classes of up to 30 students.
Dates for the annual Easter egg roll are announced yearly. This event is designed for the families of children aged 12 years old or younger. It includes games, music, and stories along with the traditional egg roll. Tickets to the event are distributed using a lottery (抽奖) system.
When visiting the White House, keep in mind that security is the most important thing. Any item that would be forbidden on an airplane, such as guns, knives, etc., cannot be carried onto the grounds. Bags and cameras are also banned.

Lee Cheng UK Han Tomb (墓) Museum
Discovered in 1955 during construction work, the declared monument (纪念碑) is believed to be a tomb built in the Eastern Han dynasty (AD 25—220). Though the actual tomb is closed to the public for the conservation reason, you can still get a pretty clear view of the tomb structure through a glass panel. Go to the exhibition hall next door to see items unearthed from the tomb and learn more about the history behind the monument.

One-day adventure (冒险) course
This is a chance you have been waiting for. Come and try sailing, climbing and surfing (冲浪). This course is trying to introduce outdoor activities to adults in a fun way. You do not need to be very fit or to have had experience of the activities. All you need is to be interested.
Play Park
The Play Park is suitable for children from 2 to 10 years of age. It is one of the best of its type in the country. It has sand and water play, large ball pool, play castle and much, much more.
Group day and weekend courses
We also offer day and long weekend courses for groups. We receive regular visits from schools and colleges There are three large rooms with twelve beds in each, which can be booked beforehand for groups of up to 36 people (12 at least).
Summer adventure holiday (for 8—14 years of age)
Safety is of great importance at the Outdoor Centre. All our workers are fully trained in first aid (急救) , and able to teach the activities on offer. We also make certain that all children only take part in activities that are suitable for their age and physical abilities. For this programme children must be able to swim 25 metres and be in good physical health.
