To make our life colorful, my classmates and I took part in a picking activity on a farm locating in the suburb of our city on last Sunday.
Upon our arrival, we were all deep attracted by that we saw. Lovely fruits, such as peaches and cherries, hang on the green branch, which made us really excited. As soon as they were divided into small groups, we worked separately. As time passed by, the activity came to end and all of us gained various fresh and tasty fruits. Tired although I was, I found it worthwhile and get close to nature could benefit us a lot.

Last Sunday morning, my mom took me to a farm. I have never visited a farm before, but I was filled with excitement when we finally arrived. It was a beautiful farm, that we received a warmly welcome. After leading us into the farm, a farmer told us about the crops grown there. Then he showed us how harvest corn. We helped her get in the corn happily. He praised me of being careful at work. Later, followed the farmer, I saw some sheeps and learned how to feed them. On that day, I was quite enjoyed myself. Last weekend, I, together with some classmates, going to the Green Farm to participate a grape-picking activity. Walking through the “Green Passage”, where we came to the grape garden covered an area of 100 mu. To our amazed, we saw advanced technology and equipment using for efficient farming. Everywhere our eyes fell were bunch of grapes, which were all red and purple, shining like pearls in the sunshine. Not only did we collect fruits directly from the plants, but also we enjoyable ate lots of fresh grapes there. What this activity has given us is an unique pleasure. What is also a great opportunity for us to get close to nature.

I feel greatly honored to be spoken on behalf of all the camp members. First I’d like to express our sincerely thanks to all the teachers and host families which have given us a lot of help both in life and in study. During the past few weeks we have had wonderful time and achieve a lot. The host parents took care of us, which made us feeling at home. And with the help of the teachers we have made great progresses in English. Meanwhile, we have got to know more about western history and culture before visiting so many places of interest. What’s more, the visit to such famous universities as Oxford University or Cambridge University broadened our horizons.
What we have gained it from this camp is not only knowledge, but also friendship. I hope our friendship will last forever.

My classmates made the plan to go to the seaside the other day. I felt very excited and ask for my parents’ permission. To my delighted, they agreed. We gathered at 7: 30 but set off immediately. It took us two hours or so to arrive there by bike. When we arrived, there had been plenty visitors. Some were playing volleyball on the beach; some were running happy along the seaside. When I was a little boy, I was always hoping visit Tian’anmen Square. Now the day has final come and I shall never forget it. Yesterday afternoon I paid the visit to Tian’anmen Square. My sister got married with Tom three years ago, and now their kid is one year old. Last week, my sister was such busy that she asked me to take a care of her child for half a day. I agreed without hesitation because I thought it was a very simply thing. And it turned out to be wrong, for my nephew was always moving. My nephew too young to walk, so he crawled everywhere. He needed to pay more attentions. Once he left my sight, something bad will happen. Although I sat on the chair, I couldn't do anything, thus make me very tired.
