It is reported that 1 out of 3 school child doesn’t have the needed supplies support their learning. To collect school supplies for the needy students, my friends and me organized a charity action in our school on last Sunday. I lay some tables in the playground, where the students involving in it could put their donations. Eventual, forty backpacks filled with school supplies was donated to the needy children. Meantime, we collected two boxes of school supplies for teachers with the total value of approximately $1,100. It’s amazing that we can accomplish when we work together!

On Friday, our teacher told us there will be an English corner in our campus. Hardly had I finished the last class than I set off there.

I had done a lot of volunteer work over my summer holiday. Therefore, the most impressive one was my experience at a youth club for kids and teens, the majority of which were from poor families. Last Monday, when I was taken a walk with my mother, I noticed some litter on the sidewalk. I knew it was time to take action. So on our way to home, we decided to do some clean-up work. I took a picker and my mother hold a big rubbish bag. Together they did litter pickup on the sidewalk. I was surprising that the bag filled up so quick. Then we threw it into the roadside dustbin but repeated the process two more time. It gave us a sense of satisfaction to know we did which we could for Mother Earth. We thought of doing this on a regular basis, maybe once month.

I went to the zoo with Lily on yesterday. There was lots of people there. I found a girl crying in the zoo. She was lost and she couldn’t found her mother. We decided to helping her.
